Re: Hides for a 4' bp....
I use the bottom of those flower pots..the plastic ones...just cut out a little slot for him to crawl into.
If it's a BIG boy...maybe even a small kitty litter box with a section cut out for him to get into. Think cheap...those work the best :D
Re: Hides for a 4' bp....
I'm using dish washing tubs i got at the local super market for about $5.00 just cut a whole in them and they work fine.

Re: Hides for a 4' bp....
I ended up "borrowing" a few spare plastic trash cans from work and cutting off the lower 5.5" of them and using those for the hides. It seemed iffy as to whether he was going to fit (I was making them before the snake got here), but they seem to be a nearly perfect fit.
I used the bottom 3" of a third can for his water dish. Unfortunately, I think it needs to be a bit bigger, as he just barely fits in that. Oh well, like Meatloaf said, two out of three ain't bad :)
