what should i get

alright i was thinking of adding a new snake to my collection and wanted some opinons of some snakes. the snake that i'm most interested in is the jungle carpet python due to its stunning colors and patterns. the second would be the royal python cause they just have so many morphs and colors that its mind boggling:rolleye2: and the last would be the coastel. Would help me in getting large snake experince;)

What other snakes do you own or have experience with or currently have? BTW, I looked at your profile and man I feel old seeing your birthday in 1989:)

Get something you will enjoy looking at and interacting with. It doesn't sound like you are interested in breeding any particular line of reptiles so it's all up to you. If you wanted to breed carpets, or balls, or boas then people would be full of suggestions. In your case its according to what YOU like. (Personally I am biased to Ball Pythons)

yea i'm not really interested in breeding any herp yet but i'm hopeing once i find the right type of herp i will. Also i took alook at your collection on your site and would have to say that the pinstripe you own is BEAUTIFUL :bow:

Thank you...She is one of a very few that I have seen with a complete stripe down their back. She is currently sitting at 550g and growing fast, one of my better eaters. I hope to breed her next season.

are you going to breed her with another pinstripe that has a stripe down its back or are you thinking of somthing different?:confused:

Actually I am in the process of getting a pair of Axanthics and may breed her with the male. That would get me Pins het for Axanthic. When bred back to another het Axanthic would produce Axanthic Pins. The pattern of a pin in a balck and white snake!! They are beautiful. Also considering breeding her with a pastel to get blast. But who knows, may change my mind several times between now and then.LOL Currently I do not have a Pinstripe male.

This just sounds wrong and like someone should go to jail for dating someone born in 92........

Royal, I think that I'd go with a female jungle carpet. Not as large as a coastal, it will give you experience outside of balls. Their care and personalities vary greatly and you may find that you like one more than the other which may aid you in future decisions about your collection. You will also be raising a female in the event that you decide you would like to try and breed them down the road.
