Random Artistic Attempts

This is a neat forum, not many places have a section for stuff like this!

I am just starting to work on stuff in Photoshop, I have CS2. This is the second piece I ever did, a combo of 7 different pictures I found scattered across the internet. Just a fun little thing.

It looks like something that you would see on the cover of a Stephan King book. I like it a lot. :gj:

Thanks Connie :hug: I had a hard time with the feet of the wolf, though. The original picture, the wolf had no feet visible so I had to make them. I like making things colors they are not supposed to be :D

Right front paw is a bit strange looking but I really love the colors that you chose.

Hmm now that you mention it yeah I do see how awkward that looks... I sense an edit session is imminent

Thanks Laooda... I've been having issues thinking of what the background should be. I don't remember what I had in mind when I drew it 2 years ago.

I love your gallery! Gorgeous photos. Nice Photoshop too. It is really fun to work with. Unfortunately for me, the only copy I have is on a computer that I can't even get to boot up! But my hubby says "he can fix it" lol..

I just got a new computer so I have to put photoshop on this one. The other one is more of a community computer so there is so much crap on it I gave up trying to edit anything with it, it takes 15 minutes just to load CS2. Ah I really need to scan my recent photography, too. Sometimes being a film buff has its downsides.

I'm going to change the foot on the wolf and work on some more stuff and finish trying to figure out how I'm going to do the background on the drawing and whatnot. Right now I'm making custom hand beaded swarovski crystal leather dog/cat collars.

I don't suppose anyone would be interested? LoL :D I will post pictures when I finish them.

OK.. I edited the above picture added another picture to give the wolf a foot and more leg. I'm too tired to mess with it anymore I had some issues with color matching that took me like an hour haha.. any better?

I like the suggestion of dark trees and the moon.. do you guys think I should draw them by hand or go digital or put in a real picture background?
