Who would you breed this female to:

I have males of the following: Yellowbelly, Het Pied, Pastel, Black Pastel, Yellow Hypo, Het Gen. Stripe, and I might get an Enchi or a Spider at NARBC, but we'll see.

If it were me I'd want to know if that girl was a genetic stripe. Knowing that would make your future plans a lot more interesting, so I say Het stripe. Thats just me though...and now that I look at the picture again what do you not pair that girl with...too many choices:rolleye2:

YB absolutely.

that or just a normal and see what happens with genetics, if anything. but again, with a YB either something cool will come out as seems to happen with them (ie. superstripes, cyclones whatever they're called), and you'll still be able to see whether it's a genetic trait with the babies later on.

Heyyyyy I know her! Nice catch, Becky! I'd breed her to a co-dom for sure just to see if you get a combo right off the bat. Yellowbelly or one of the types of pastel. :)

I would have to say YB as well. However, the Black Pastel is a close second choice.

I'd breed it to either the yb or something recessive... probably pied.

The upside with putting her into a recessive project is you will be able to clearly see how reproduceable her look is without having it "muddied" by by adding other morphs to the clutch.

She's beautiful though, what a treat to even have such an animal to put into a project!

Thanks everyone! I think she's absolutely gorgeous too. I have another female from the same original owner, and she has the same sweet temperment and is gorgeous also(the green-eyed girl I posted awhile back).

And Justin, if I had a Pied to put her with, believe me, it would have already been done, haha! :) I'll likely go with the YB and save some of the males to breed back to her, or do some line breeding sibling to sibling. I have time :D The YB is a stud and is a nice robust boy, so he won't have trouble with 2 females on his roster(he gets the granite female and this female).

minus the continued stripe I say pair her with my guy and see if we have a match;) coloring is very similar to my dinker who has no female :(
