Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Just wondering if anyone has ever bred a Cinni to a Spider or can it be done? I'm new to BPs and just dropped payment on a sweet looking cinni male. I should have some spiders this coming June or July.

NERD has the wonderful CinnaBee. I could personally stare and drool at this page pretty much all day long! :D

BHB has one - i saw it at NARBC chantilly if i'm not mistaken. Gorgeous animal and very curious lol. I wanted a pic, but i used the last of my camera battery on their axanthic pin <3:bow::bow::snake:

The cinamon gene is a very strong one and seems to smother other morphs sometimes when combined. The cin a bee that I have seen barely shows the spider qualities. Now the pastel and cinny combo combine beautifully.
Your cinny is gorgeous! great pick up:gj:
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Kinda like a really non-reduced, brown bumblebee from the pictures, but then again there's a lot of morphs that just don't photograph well and show a lot better in person.
It would be a pretty good breeder's tool, though...puts you right in line to make triple co-dom combos.
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Jon Dvoritz also just did it this past year. He was very proud of it.
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Great looking cinny, I love the dark patterned ones with the floating pattern....
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Not very attractive morph but I would still have it in my colletion to produce other combos suck as the pewter bee!
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
I'd have to agree it might not be stunning - but the cross potential would be worth freeing up a tub in the rack. :gj:
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
We produced this guy in 07. I really like them, you can do some neat stuff with them. I will say they do look a lot better in person though...

That is an awesome looking Cinnamon. Who produced that one?
Mark
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
Looks like a regular spider with a little twist... not eye grabbing to me
Re: Has anyone ever bred Cinni x Spider
calling it a waste is absolutely ridiculous.
on that note, NERD's cinnabees are boring, I'll agree with that, but I think Jon's looks awesome.

Not a waste at all. When bred you could produce spiders and cinnies in one shot.

Seriously, if you think ANY snake is a waste, or is "ugly" you need to get out of the hobby and get a pet hamster.

Mark I purchased the Cinni from Chris Huffman. He told me he is working on black pastels as well! He seems to have his "balls in a row" with his breeding projects. I am keeping his name for future reference. He posted this good looking cinni on kingsnake.com
