Looks good to me!

Looks good to me. I trust my helix too, but thats not the correct temp that your snakes will feel/need. Make sure you have a accurite or a temp gun to make sure the temp inside the tub and make sure you have something to check the humidity too. :gj:

Thanks, is it okay that I set the Helix to 90? Or should I change that? I ordered a temp gun when I ordered my Helix so I have that as well.. And I have a temp/humidity gauge for my BPs that I haven't set up yet.. The humidity is the last thing I'm doing

Good try, my cats would kill me! Its been their favorite new thing, they try to sleep on top of it.. Its going to kill them to not be allowed on it anymore once the snakes are in it
Re: Does this look right??
Place the temp prob on inside on the flexwatt. Usually other would set it at 93....I would make 1degree increments within 1hr or so intervals with a temp prob inside.

Thanks for the help, I'll do that now, and I just cleaned off my humidity gauge and placed it in one of the tubs to try to get that taken care of now
Re: Does this look right??
I only said to use a probe bc its difficult to measure when you use ta temp gun when the tub is pushed all the way in. lol:rolleye2:
Re: Does this look right??
how did you get the aspen to stay with it on its side like that lol

I have a temp gun and a temp/humidity gauge with a probe :)
All of a sudden I'm having a hard time with the Helix/flexwatt now though.. The Helix says 90.. when I temp gun the actual flexwatt it says 110.. and the temp/humidity gauge probe says 113.. I don't really know what to do.. I'm paranoid that I'm going to burn the house down if I'm not doing something right
Re: Does this look right??
Just make sure you have the helix probe taped on the flexwatt and set it at 90. put the temp probe on inside on the tub and measure the temp. Bump the helix up to where it would read 90 on the temp gauge.
You should be fine.
Just to let you know, the temp on the bottom of the rack is going to always be a few degrees lower.
Re: Does this look right??
Another suggestion I would do is raise the rack higher off the floor. Good luck.
Re: Does this look right??
Thanks! I actually just got everything figured out after I posted that my temps were going crazy.. the probe had moved and thats why everything was getting weird.. the temps have been stable all day now
