Fauna?

Is anyone else having trouble loading the BOI? Every time I attempt it I get a 'problem loading page' screen.

It has been down for 2 days for me.

Good to know it's not my computer and I can stop screaming obsceneties at it.

There were some major servor issues yesterday.

Rich mentioned he may be moving to a new one.

Hopefully it'll be up later today.

Haven't been able to get in.....

I might talk to rich about a mirror for him. I am thinking about setting up two mirror servers. All they will be is a server that collects info every hour from the main server. But this server will be in another DC. Meaning if the main goes down the mirror picks it up and no one notices a thing.

It might take a lot to do for a larger site but maybe worth it.

Holy Cow, I haven't even been able to get to the main page either yesterday or today. I need to reply to an inquiry and can't get there. FRUSTRATING. Ah well.

im not sure if rich said this was 100% the problem or not, or if i read his post wrong, but i believe that someone, or several people were attacking the site and basically overloading it.

Not sure though, and dont quote me on that as 100% fact. The way the site was bogging down though, it made me think that the load on the servers was pretty great.

Anyone else have any information on that? * have you spoken with rich?* be cool to know, i miss my home....

Still down it seems.

To tell you the truth I doubt it was a reptile person. there are tons of machines that run DoS attacks on servers every minute. It happens. This one just found a hole I bet.

I seem to remember i definitely had an opinion of BP.net having lots of "new" or many inexperienced people and that, i enjoyed the company of faunas older members. yes. yes i did.

As far as I know, there was one instance, where I lied. And that was about my beauty snake, that I suposedly killed it ... sheesh. I am not sure where else I lied about. And I don't have anything else to prove... For example, I have all the animals I say I have.. so what are the other instances? I'd like to know.

BallPythonsRule that post of yours was uncalled for, mooingtricycle has as much right to post here as you do. Those sorts of comments are not needed nor wanted here. Mooingtricycle, there's no need to further inflame this with comments either.

Now it's pretty obvious you two have some sort of issues that perhaps you'd both like to take out of the public view. I'm sure we'd all appreciate you both choosing to either ignore each other or settle your differences privately. Thank you.

I think mooingtricycle is cool. She is good people. Hey I say post everywhere you want. It just makes it that much more fun

Alicia knows her stuff and in my honest opinion she is a good person to have on this site (and other sites as well). She doesn't lead people the wrong way, is very informative, and is always open minded for new and different ideas and ways to do things when they come up. People like here are more then welcome here. She is a great assist to this community!


PS. I'm glad fauna is back up. I was wondering what had been going on over there for the past few days. It seemed to work for a minute or to then stop loading up. Grrrr site spammers and hackers. They need to find a new life.

My kids are all about Underdog and Alvin and the Chipmunks (and we only saw that movie once about a month ago). I fear when SnowBuddies comes out. :O
