Almost only counts in horseshoes not football.
I will take Belichick over Coughlin ( sp ) and Brady over Eli any day of the week.
Giants have been finding a way to win, no doubt and they will make a game of it but at the end of the day the Trophy will go back to Foxboro.

I have to agree that the Patriots are an AMAZING team, but the Giants probably gave them their most competitive game of the season and I hope we get a great Superbowl that keeps us all on the edge of our seats!:taz:

You are right on it. The Giants gave the Pats the best game all season. Let's hope this is a game that keeps us on the edge of our seats instead of the blowouts that have been in years passed.

Go Pats! Although, Tom Brady did seem pretty worn out in that game... but probably because it was FREEZING!! IMHO, neither the Pats nor the Chargers were totally on top of their game last night cause of the weather. I know they're trained for anything but they are human beings after all. Even the usually insane fans were pretty quiet.

Giants vs. Pats should be a pretty awesome match up to watch. If Pats win the superbowl and make history, UMass might have another riot... :O Stupid kids! (I go there and think that rioting is the most embarrassing thing for our school. A small percentage of kids go nuts, break stuff, stand up to cops, and make everyone else look bad... very sad :()

Pats are from Connecticut. Everyone loved the pats there first superbowl when Brady was a little second string squirt. Now that he has skills everyone dumps on the boys. I am not a sports fan at all but the pats are a good team.

I'm pretty sure the P's will cream the G's, but we'll just have to see.

seeing as how the packers aren't gonna be there, i'm all about the pats laying down some creamation. :P

That was some good football yesterday, and l way to go Eli! I mean who wouldve thought that Eli was going to walk out of the NFC as chamion?

I LIKED Favre but after moving up here, I was thrilled to see the Pack fall to the giants, now the fans up here will shut up....

I honestly think that the Giants have a better chance of knocking off the Pats. I dont know about you all, but I would LOVE to see the pats lose. Remember it was just 3 games ago that the Giants almost ended the Pats 16-0 dream....the giants ended up losing by 3 points.

Now think of the confidence Eli has built? Going into Tampa, Dallas, and GB and coming out with victories? I mean I know Eli looks like he is slow, but wow, oh and Eli has NO int's this post-season....Brady had 3 yesterday....GO ELI!

I thought the ravens gave them the best game?

I was rooting for the panthers but we just missed the wild card after loosing to Dallas (the 2nd team I root for, it was a hard game for me) after Dallas loosing to the giants last week (which I couldn't believe) I decided to root for green bay, which is my 2nd favorite (after panthers) and I like Bret so I figured why not. I couldn't BELIEVE the giants got them. Giants are a good team though. I really would love to see them keep the 72 dolphins as the only team to go all the way. I wouldn't have a problem with the patriots but I think Tom Brady is a pompas ass and although he is an amazing quarterback, his personality as a whole makes me dislike the whole team.

They did give them a good game but the stupid childish acts of one or two of the Ravens killed them. So for me IMO it took away of the good play of the Ravens.
There have been a couple of teams that gave the Pats what for this year, Ravens, Eagles and Giants ( Eagles almost pulled it off w/ a 2nd string QB ) all were 3 point games and came right down to the wire.

I want nothing more than to see the Pats bust wide open the '72 Dolphins record. Talk about pompas asses, that would be those old fart Dolphins. Old doper Morris said not to bother him until the Pats were close to there neighborhood. Well buddy they are on your porch knocking at your door.

Been a die hard Dolphin fan for 40 years....Don't want to see it happen, but it wouldn't kill me if it did....I'd just rather see the Giants win.

Mayn I'm hopin those pats lose this one for sure. Im a Raiders fan, but I was even pullin for the friggin Chargers, but now I'll go for the Giants I guess.

I can understand how you feel. I am a diehard Redskins fan so you know why I feel the way I do ( 14-7..1972):taz:...lol

Although I am not a fan of either one I like the story lines surrounding this super bowl. The pats going for a perfect undefeated season and super bowl win after the cheating deal. Eli Manning winning a super bowl a year after Peyton did and growing into his own after he was shredded by critics this year. He may finally do something Peyton couldn't and that was beat the pats this year and finally climb out behind Peyton's shadow.

Boooo the g-men, the Packers were suppose to win! :mad:

After seeing the giants handle the pats the way they did, then go on to beat the Bucs, and Cowboys I was starting to think the Packers would have been better off it the giants hadn't of won against the Cowboys.

The Packers just didn't play well on offense, especially in the 2nd half. It's a shame they played one of their worst games at one of the most critical times.

i could just throw up!


Superbowl will be one sided, the midgets are better off staying home!

The Giants are by far the most under rated football team but yet they keep kicking but. They have also come back to beat teams that have beaten them, on the road and in the playoffs, when no one gave them a chance. The Packers didn't play poorly(as someone wrote earlier), it was the Giant defense that never stops bringing pressure, that makes them all look bad. (Mexico & Jessica aren't to blame either).

I say if the Giants get pressure, they win, if they don't Brady gets MVP.

Raul we are cool, but come on! Cowboys destroyed the Giants twice this year! We lost the playoff game due to our mistakes, not what the Giants did! But i want you to celebrate this superbowl appearance so i won't try to rain on your parade!
