Are these color morphs/ghosts? Rescued BPs
I got these two young uns back in december from a nice older lady who couldn't keep them. She got them at a show.
And another person was interested in the one called Cannon, thinking he might be a ghost color morph..
So now I am wondering, I don't think so, but I don't have any color morphs.. and don't see that many. I think they are just nice normals.
I have tried to take the pics in natural light, and w/ the flash.
So take a gander and let me know.

wait till they shed and then look to see if their shed skin has a pattern in it if not its a ghost, if it does have the pattern in the shed then its not.

Sorry to say this, but they all appear to be entirely normal.

They look like great looking normals but who really knows until you breed them and prove them out.

I bought this female from a baby and everytime she shed she was turning different. I still keep and say she is a normal until I can breed her and see if any of the babies are different, if they do look some what different I will breed them back to see what happens.

    Good luck with your group.:gj:

They look normal, but I also know personally how hard it is to capture the non-black color in the patterns of the snakes. If you believe it is a ghost, the best comparison shot would be these snakes in the shot with a known normal snake.

I must say that they do look like normal in these shot, and I dont know how easy it is to mistake a ghost once you've seen one in person. They really are very hypo in person.

^^^ Also when a ghost sheds the skin should be see through with no marks or pattern.:gj:

Here is a shot of my O. ghost next to our lightest colored normal. Natural light, no flash.

She is coming up on a shed so she looks more hypo right now, but not by much. Hope this helps.

It does, I am going to put Cannon and Foose next to some others and take a few pics.
I can't do a lot of natural light right now due to the temps. BUT if its sunny in the next few days, I will try in the living room.
I didn't think they were ghost. I think they are normal.
But some one else thought they were.

They look normal to me as well. However, a few weeks ago there was a thread about "hooks" in a snake's pattern. These hooks might be a sign that the snake is het for something. After reading the post I checked my het albinos and they both had hooks. Anyway, I noticed that the first snake you posted had at least one very distinct hook. Just thought it was interesting!
