Which is better Orange or Butterscotch Ghost?
I am planning on getting a ghost and was wondering which is better, orange or butterscotch... Which do you like better, and why?

I pick Orange ghost, and they get better and better with each shed..

They both are great snakes to work with so it's really up to you on what you are looking for. They all are not the same and some are lighter or darker of both morphs.

Haha! Another use for a ghost pic, I am all for oranges all the way. I think it also takes shopping, as I have seen some ugly oranges, and some really hot ones. Some green out a lot, and others can hold that orange and get brighter after each shed.
... but i'm biased.

butterscotch and orange are thought of the same ghost by a lot of people because of how close they are... i like and tend to think that the butterscotch holds its colors better but as said above you will find ugly and hot ones of each kind. if you are looking for some HOT ghosts Jon from coldbloodedaddiction produces some HOT HOT HOT ghosts. every one i have seen from the line of butterscotch he has produces some of the best i have seen and have yet to see an "ugly" one yet... i would request pictures from the breeder to see what the parents are like because thats generally what the one ou are going to buy is gong to turn out like

IMO adams hypos are amazing! I think he uses a combo of diffrent ones. Could be wrong.

Great info, I did not know that about orange and butterscotch. I will definately shop around. From all of the pictures that everyone has been so kind to show, I realize that I like both. I think that I'm not going to worry about which type of ghost. I am going to just buy the one that I like the most. Thanks again to everyone. :rolleyes:

Adam does have some nice Ghosts.

they have made them...lines get crossed everyday. i bet a breeder is working with them but i can say who

If you combine butterscotch ghosts with Orange ghosts, you will get ghosts. They are the same mutation, but from different founder stock.

I need to plug the hypo I'm getting from Adam at 8Ball. She has a very crisp pattern and is really beautiful. I would put Adam on your list of breeders to contact! I'd upload her picture, but I have to first figure out how to!
