Attending - Yes, my girlfriend and I are very excited for Daytona. We are probably going to make a vacation out of it.

Attending? - Third time's a charm! We'll be driving down Wednesday and leaving on Monday! Wouldn't miss it, and already have booked my time off as well as my hotel.

August 22nd-24th and I believe $10 to get in.

Wow! Three days long! I'm going to talk to the fiance about setting aside some money to go. Any idea on how long I have till the hotel is booked?

You probably have a while, but I would get it done as early as you can. Seems like tons of people from just this forum are staying at the Hilton, so imagine how many from all over the country. It will fill pretty fast.

Also the rates are lower.:gj:

do you need to rent a car?

I believe there are 3 hotels all within walking distance(3 or 4 blocks). The Hilton everyone is talking about is where the Expo is being held I believe.

The city center is also about 1 mile or so away. Unless you are up for a little bit a walking, I don't think you will really need a car.

Too far for me.... Tinley is as far East as I go.... and that's a long drive from Colorado!

anyone know where it is going to be for sure? cuz I live in Florida so I'll be there just gotta find out what place :)

Last year was the first time I went since, it was at the Twin Towers in Orlando in 1992. Last year we rented a place right on the beach in Daytona Shore's thing's are quite there and we had a great time. I think this year I will arrive Thursday and leave Monday. I hope to see ya there.

Wouldn't miss it! Last year was the first time that my wife and I went, my business partner and one of my best friends, Jeff, has been going for years, he works for Maryland Reptile Farms. We are not listed in the vendors section as we use one of MRF's tables, that way we get to be on the first floor. We took lots of pictures last year, you can veiw them at www.cbballpythons.com.

Yup...$130 for a regular king room, $139 for an oceanfront king room. I'm fancy so I went with oceanfront!

My boyfriend and I will definitely be attending. We were only able to attend our first Daytona in 07 for a few hours since his son had to move into his dorm for his freshman year at UCF. It was a busy weekend!

Hopefully this year we'll be able to stay and have a few drinks and meet some cool BP net folks!

I'm already saving my pennies!

We will be there. It is the show to be at to hear all the scoop and dirt . . . .an to see some great snakes. I like the auction each year too.

Unless they've changed it, the show is only 2 days, but vendors set-up on Friday. So the show for the general public is Aug. 23 and Aug 24, vendor set-up on Aug-22.
