What a mess!
I swear, when I left for work at 1:00, this newspaper was clean and dry. I got home at around 9:00 and found this!:O

What a mess! They decided they liked it extra swampy? The paper was so wet that there was still water sloshing around when I took it out!

A close up of the perpetrators, my het albino male Edamaru and his current girlfriend, Root. Don't they look guilty? Bad snakies! But I guess since they've been locking up like crazy, I'll forgive them this one time :P

Re: What a mess!
Hey, are you insulting my ancient tupperware-type water bowl?? It's practically antique!:D Seriously, Root doesn't flip it (that I've seen), it's more she decides to try and stuff her entire body in it sometimes and the water goes everywhere!

Re: What a mess!
damn thats pretty nasy lookin hahaha. but i could see it happenin, two snakes, if they both pass urates with a little liquid, could end up a lot more than a LITTLE liquid

Re: What a mess!
A few of mine do that about once a week. I use the plastic pet dishes from walmart. Some of mine do mess with them, others dont. I think just so I have a mess to clean up. I have one male, everytime I clean his tub and give him fresh water. Soon as I put him back in his tub he tips his water over. Then I have to clean again.

Re: What a mess!
I remove the water dish when my lovebirds are together - great tip from Kara so that they don't share the same water source - that way if one starts to develop an RI from the stress of breeding, you've eliminated one method of transmission and somewhat reduced the chances of both getting sick.
I still get tipped water dishes from my singletons all the time though. :D
Lovely looking couple there! Good luck with them!

Re: What a mess!
Ug, that looks like my odd girls tub. Every other day she's made a swamp. And her dish is UNTIPPABLE how she makes this mess is beyond me but she'll have ALL the water out of her dish and a good inch in the bottom of her tub.
I believe she's a reincarnated water snake. Luckily she's sweet tempered so I can clean without loosing flesh unlike some of my others.

I've had dates like that. ;-)

I have little ones that will do this weekly..... drives me crazy!! I never witness them putting any part of their body in the water bowl but it would be the only way to do it with the bowls I use.

Re: What a mess!
How rude!
It is just bad manners to tip water dishes and eliminate when on a date.

Sometimes the most obvious things... I just assumed that all the kissing would be the culprit.
Eh, I am just an incurable romantic.
