How is a yellow belly different? Is there a true "yellow belly" that is distinct looking? Just wondering!

Yellow Belly's have a high amount of yellow pigment on the sides of there belly, and they also have alot of blushing on there backs. Another way to spot them is the speckling that runs all the way down the sides of the belly with flames that shoot up there sides.

My male YB doesnt have alot of yellow on his belly either. He too is from a proven Ivory line. The father of mine has the most yellow on his belly ive ever seen. Like a solid yellow almost albino looking yellow. Then darker closer to the edge of its belly. But yet mine does not have that much. Not sure if it gets more yellow as it gets older. Mines only 300g. Here is a picture of my YB's belly. I wish I had a picture of the father, ill have to see if I can get one

How is the growth in your YB's I have noticed my 07 male. He doesnt grow as fast as my other 07's. Anyone else notice this, or is it just mine. He isnt much smaller maybe only 50g to 100g.

Both of mine have attitudes(HISSY!) and eat very well. Both male and female are over 800g now and are 06s I got as tiny babies at the last NARBC Arlington expo(February 07).

Mine is an eater, but he's pickier than some of the others. He's very uptight too, but he's not too stressed to eat, thank goodness. He's an 07 and he's still ranking with the babies in size. Took me a few tries to get him to eat after his trip, though, so maybe that explains it.

    Re: Yellowbelly
Mine has never missed a meal. He was kind of hissy when I got him. He is alway ready to eat. He just doesnt seem to be growning as fast as the other 07's I have. Hes is good and healthy looking not skinny or anything. He hatched 8/23/07 and hes is 309g. Last weighed on the 1st. He eats a rat pup or fuzzy every 5 days like the rest of the 07's. I guess just making it out to be more than it is. He is only about 100g smaller than my pastel was at 5 months old.
