I buy frozen rats and frozen rabbits from Big Cheese Rodents. Their rabbits are only $2.25/lb and very good quality. Sonja the boa approves ;)

I used to use RodentPro, but I had problems with them that they refused to take care of so I get them at the local show. If I ever made another order it would be from Big Cheese.

Re: where do you buy frozen rats or mice from????
Tried rodentpro didn't like them, because they didn't look very healthy, and they were exspencive. Big cheese packed them perfectly with a small box and lots of rodents, unlike rodentpro with a few rodents and a huge box. BCRs rodents were vacume packed and big and plump.

Anyone every purchased from Layne Labs (https://www.laynelabs.com/frozen-rats)? Their shipping costs seem expensive to me, but thought I would ask anyways. There isn't going to be an expo around me for at least a month, so perhaps I can wait it out. I just know that I would like to purchase them in bulk. I was about to get about 15 frozen fuzzy rats from my local pet store, but only because they had a full grown rat that unexpectedly had babies...don't think I can count on that happening frequently, and I believe I am down to 3-4 left.

I think I will have to weigh and measure my bp later this week, to ensure that he is still at the fuzzy stage, and not ready for pups (he was looking kind of fat yesterday before feeding him, so he may be ready for the next size).

The problem with shipping a small quantity of frozen product is that the
cost of shipping, shipping container,&dry ice becomes a large percentage
of the total cost of your feeders.

Rather then bump a 5 year old thread you might want to create a new thread in the Inquiry/Feedback forum

I would have loved to start a new thread somewhere else, but I have been unable to start a new thread since day one of joining this site. I submitted an inquiry, but never had any resolution. Therefore, I have no choice but to jump in at the end of other threads that are related to my inquiries, even if they are 5 years old.

What error messages do you get when hitting the "post new thread" button at the top left of a forum?

There really doesn't seem to be any reason you shouldn't be able to create threads. :confusd:

I was getting this error: "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5228983 bytes) in /home/ballpyth/public_html/forums/includes/class_bbcode_alt.php on line 402". When it first happened, I sent a message to an admin with the name JLC. She responded saying that she was going to contact the sites technical gurus and get back to me, and never did. That response from JLC was back in December.

However, now when I try to start a new thread, I just get a blank page (all white, no error). I have tried in Firefox and ie with the same result. Any thoughts on what the problem could be, and how to remedy the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,

Are they up to date versions of each browser?

Do you have any popup blocking software running on your computer or any proxy's or anything?

Is this the only site you have encountered problems on?

Does it happen when you click to start a new thread or when you try to post the new thread? Also do you have any addons/plugins for your browser? Namely things like Greasemonkey with scripts running? These are the primary issue from what I found.

It's strange because the error seems to be on the side of the website from what I saw when I looked it up. It looks like you have around 32MB (which is standard) to make the post which is A LOT of text. Something is eating it up somewhere...

I primarily use Firefox, and I am using the most current version. I do not have anything blocking pop-ups, and I am not aware of any proxy settings.

Yes, it is the only site I have encountered the problem. However, this is the only forum that I belong to, so that may not tell you much.

It is happening when I click to start a new thread. In another tab, I have the General BP forum up. When I click on the Post New Thread button, it goes to a completely blank screen now (no longer getting the goofy error), within the same tab (does not open a new tab). I do not have any unusual addons/plugin running. I only have basic stuff, Adobe Acrobat, couple of McAfee security things, iTunes, Java, couple of Microsoft Office items, Windows live (these are add-ons). However, currently I have all add-ons disabled while running Firefox in safe mode, and still getting the same result when trying to start a new thread.

I have a total of 4GB of RAM installed, and currently my performance shows not even 50% being used.

I wonder, maybe it is somehow connected to another error I see. When I log into the site, this pops up "Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.ball-pythons.net/)". Maybe this error, with my inability to start new threads, are related somehow!?
