    Is She Glowing?
Heck if I know for sure - she "seems" brighter to me, but she's such a dark snake, it's hard for me to tell.

I don't know if I'm wishing it or not, but it made for a good reason to take some pictures of her.

This is Echo, who will hopefully have a possible het clown clutch for me this year!

Here's a few pictures of her about a month ago:

    And here she is tonight

She's definitely bigger than she was when I started breeding her, but I've not seen an ovulation (unless she did it while I was in NC the week before Christmas, as she has shed since then).

I don't believe it to be her pre-lay shed, because I haven't really seen any bowl wrapping, cool laying (consistently anyway), lumping, etc. But I am watching her carefully now, as I think that her next shed will likely be her pre-lay shed. She's locked with Oliver 8 times.

So, by the overwhelming responses, I guess that's a big NO! :P

I remember when I first picked this girl out 2 years ago - my how time flies!

Honestly, I can't tell Robin. Sorry. I thought I notice a difference in the first two pics and then realized they were both early pics. :ohmygod:

I just remember when Dandylion went last year that I was shocked at the difference. It wasn't subtle enough not to miss. I opened the tub and thought I had gotten them mixed up because she was SOOO much lighter. If you're in doubt then probably not, but it's always a possibilty since it could differ between individuals.

Of course this is like the blind leading the blind, since I have almost no experience at this. I hope someone with more than one clutch on their resume can be of some help.

Looks like she is really starting to glow to me. I've noticed that it seems to start at the head and that's the most noticeable area on your female. Good things to come.

No, not in the water bowl, no wrapping the water bowl, seems to spend times on the cool and warm side, but prefers the warm side.

She's definitely thicker. And she's VERY hard to palpatate, she doesn't relax and she's so thick I have difficulty hanging onto her properly when she goes through my hands.

Fingers crossed, and I'm really hoping for a nice ratio of females!

Well, I'm checking her every day now, and no plans on being out of town any time soon, so hopefully I'll see an ovulation!
