We stay fly, no lie, you know this
Hips and thighs, oh my, stay focused. :partyon:

Now that that's out of the way, I have a question. I know that all babies are light colored when they're little. But as they grow up their colors can and probably will change. (I'm talking about Normals btw). So how can you reasonably predict what your little ones will look like when they're older? Adalae has stayed the same colors ever since I got her and she's about 7 months old now. (Give or take - I don't know the exact hatch date) I'm dying to know what she'll look like as an adult, but each shed she looks the same. I'd LOVE IT if she stayed this way forever. But I realize that's unlikely.

So, what should I be looking at to predict her color changes?

Here's the most recent picture of her:

Those colors are very accurate. Pay no attention to my ugly carpet.

I haven't really noticed my normals changing color too much. (big help right? :giggle: ) Maybe a bit lightening or darkening, but nothing significant. Now when they're breeding, I notice a HUGE change in color. Sometimes waayyy light and the next time I look waaaayyy dark. It's awesome to see the changes.

mmkay, then let me ask this: Is it likely that Adalae will ever get as dark as Harlett? I didn't have Harlett as a baby so I have nothing to go on.

    Adalae:

    Harlett:

I don't think he will. I've seen normal baby balls that are greenish and others that are brownish. I think the colors just fade and get a bit darker. But that's just my opinion.

P.S. That other tank looks awesome too! Help me fix mine up!! :D <3

Normals tend to darken up as adults to their true color. Most babies are much lighter when hatched then what they turn out to be in adulthood.

    Patterns don't change though :P
