    Lucy's
I was wondering which white snake was everybody's favorite? I'm going to be producing a blue eyed lucy from lesser to lesser and I will be producing an ivory also. I love both I guess I'll have to pick a fav when I have both in my possesion. Some of you might think I'm crazy comparing them but nerd has some real smokin adult ivory's. Black eyed lucy's don't do it for me cause of the yellow spots.

I voted Black eyed. Because the black eye on the white looks so cool. And it has a red pupil to boot! Lesser x lesser is really nice though!

Actually I didn't choose the black-eyed JUST because i have a pair of fires. The white in this type tends to be more "pure" than in the other leucys-less yellow or brown wash.

But the purest white of all is found in the "super Russo"-not even a choice in this poll!:D

No-just check out Kevin McCurley's book or the Barker's (or any of several recent threads on the various ball python forums lol)..

The hierarchy from whitest to least white goes like this:

    Russo
    Black-eyed (homozygous FIRE)
    Lesser X Russo
    Lesser X Lesser
    Lesser X Mojave
    mojave X mojave
    Ivory (homozygous yellow belly)

Where's the "all of the above" option? I think placing each side-by-side allows you to enjoy each one even more, for their own unique characteristics. I know I could never choose just one. :D

I like all the white snakes. But ill have to go with the Ivory and the BEL from mojave X mojave. Just because those are the two that ill have a chance of hatching in a few years. Here is a few pics of the BEL from mojave X mojave. Not my snake it was hatched out by the guy I bought a few from this year.

But since you don't have it then I vote Lesser x Lesser

I like BEL more than Black EL and Ivory, just personal opinion.

Overall I like the lesser x lesser the best of what I have seen which is why I ended up buying a pair. I have never seen a russo in person so I can't really comment on that. I like the eyes on the fire lucy, but the yellow totally ruins it for me. I like the Ivories as hatchlings, but not so much as adults. I am hoping to produce a lesser x lesser lucy myself this season if my female lesser ever decides to let my male copulate with her.

My Fire BEL has the tiniest yellow spot on the tail and nothing else, a couple of Mike Wilbanks are scale perfect with NO yellow on them. There have been MANY poor examples of BELs. If you have also seen a Fire BEL and Lesser BEL together then you will know what white really is!!!

If you say that there have been many examples of bad BELs, I can just as safely say that there have only been a few good examples of super fire's...lol...

I prefer the Black Eyed Lucy, love the yellow blotching, the more the better!

As for the whitest, in Ralph words ''Ha!!...........I'm lovin' it!!...........this little guy has had his first meal and shed.....and I will say this..........and I should know...........the white snake from this clutch is 100% hands down the "WHITEST" absolute ZERO patterned ball python on this planet..........it is a "White Piebald"

On the good/ bad example then it depends who's breeding you look at. Some breeders are constantly producing bad examples and others constantly producing good. Clearly showing there is more to this morph and the breeding involved than people care to look at.

On the Lesser BEL then I suggest Optrex or a good opthalmpologist:weirdface

Well, I've seen several lesser X lesser and a couple black-eyed, and the ONLY totally stark white snake of that group was a black-eyed leucy. That's why I spent quite a bit more to get a FIRE pair rather than lessers. Plus the blue eyes look a little goofy to me.

When you see them side by side you know which ones WHITE:gj:
At the end of the day its personal choice. I'm glad some others prefer the Lesser BEL and Ivory more, the world would be a boring place painted one colour. Isn't this the whole fun in Ball morphs, choice and preference:)
