    New Dude in town
Heres my latest little guy he just came in today, Figured I get a few decent pics of him before I settle him in his cage that way I dont have to disturb him. Hes a CH from Providence reptiles (Thanks a Bunch Tim :D) I simply love blackbacks and he was a great looking one with a perfectly clean 'outlined' belly to boot. Not only was his 'black stripe" uninterrupted for more than half his body, it appears to be bordered by a light line. The bit of patteren he does begin to develop has no 'alien heads' they are either stretched with only 1 'eye' or all connected. His overall color is light compared to my other normals, except for my het clown charlie.

I'm not sure if these picture are way too big or what, my computer seems to exaggerate things cause I have a widescreen.I've tried to resize them but not all of them will change for some reason.

These first 2 pics were taken by tim when he was still for sale.

Heres him next to one of my other hets, you can clearly see the color difference, this was without using flash, and it wasnt really that light in the room as it appears to be.

I tried to do a shot of my own to get a view of his bellly, didnt turn out to good due to the silly flash, but is it me or is his tail yellow looking, do all Bp have that and I just haven't noticed?

I then popped him on the scale before I put him in his home for time to settle in.

I don't know maybe I'm seeing something in nothing, everyone says clear bellies are a good sign and to me his black stripe looks too defined compared to other versions of blackback I've seen. either way I love blackbacks and he'll most likely be a long pet of mines even if nothing ever proves out of him, I cant wait to see what he looks like as he grows. hes so little right now, still has that baby face, but man is he fiesty.I have named him streamer, dont know where that name came from just popped into my head sorta but I think it does well.

Well now that is a good looking snake! I love how his back and high orangey color makes him look like a clown. Very nice pickup :gj:

I'm usually not too fond of black backs or any type of reduced pattern, but I am pretty attracted to that one. Well, if I were a snake I would be. Bom chicka wha wha. -lol-

Wow, that is really a beautiful project animal. You should have a lot of fun with that one. I'd love to run it to a clown just to see what would happen, but then a spider would be fun too. I can see so much potential in that little guy. You're lucky to find one like that.

    Very Nice Pickup man!!

Im a HUGE blackback fan myself...i always seem to end up keepin a few every year from CH shipments ....always seems like you can see a different kind or 12 every year !!

good luck with that guy looks very reminiscent of the genetic BBs that ralph was working with a few years back real nice reduced animals like that look GREAT crossed into pastel lines ;)
