Depends on where you live and how expensive your vet is.

Mine are around $30+

Mine usually run about $25. Best thing to do is call your vet and just ask for an estimate of services. Most vet offices will happily provide that.

It does vary by location, as evidenced by the posts here. The vet where I am charges about $22.00 for a fecal.

You are lucky, I bet you the vets around here will ask for at least $40. Sucks to live in Taxachusetts :mad:

Here in MIA it's about $55 for the visit and the fecal but he really checks them out for RI and everything else.:snake:

just to be clear--the $12 that my vet charges is for the fecal only. that means, i bring in the fecal sample and he checks it. it doesn't include an exam. i do love my vet though, and i feel that overall his prices are very reasonable. :)

It's gonna cost me about $45 taxes in to get it done. This doesn't include the exam which was $82 alone.

can you describe the procedure and some pictures of the eggs if you have any?

The eggs are not visible to the naked eye, you need a high powered microscope to view them. There are lots of pictures on Google I'm sure, as I don't have any.

Mine are generaly 20, for fecal only.

Well I have a microscpe at my disposal, that's why I asked for details,and I'm interested in this basic test, but thanks anyway
