    New baby!
I went to Petco, looking for female breeder mice, and we found the cutest little cornsnake ever! I will get pics up as soon as I can and maybe you can tell me what morph of corn snake he/she is. The lable just said Black corn snake. He's black and white though. Like a moo cow.

Congratulations! I went to a Petsmart here in Louisville today (at home visiting my parents for the weekend) and there were a few corn snakes. I handled this pretty little orange one. I was so amazed at how much it liked being handled! It wasn't shy and really seemed to enjoy being on my hands. It was moving a lot but not too quickly and just seemed to be having a ball. It made me really want to buy it but I don't have the money/room to spare right now, really. Are most corn snakes like that, though - total puppy dogs that love being handled? I definitely need to save up for supplies and get one some day if they are!

Not all are like that, but most of them are. We have a female that is the meanest snake we have.

Looking forward to seeing pics! :)

I have no clue about cornsnake genetics. Don't know what makes what. Any sites you know of that might teach me what the ingredients are for corn snake morphs.

Well, the little thing has a name now. I've decided to name all the corns I get after Characters in the cartoon show Invader Zim. Once I've run out of names from that show, I'll move onto another of my favorite cartoon shows.

This little corn is now known as Pig.

Pig weighs in at 6g. He eats like a champ though so we expect him to start gaining weight soon. Hope he lives up to his name.
