holy cow, i got a runt. ill get a picture, but she is no where near that. i feed her ever other weekend. should i feed her more? I feed her rat hoppers i think they call it.

She is only a runt for lack of food. Feeding once a week is pretty standard, unless you are feeding relatively large meals. At two years old, your BP should be feeding on larger prey items than rat pups. Do you not have access to larger sized rodents?

Yes, every 5-7 days feed her a rat that's as wide as she is. They should be bigger than rat crawlers by now. All my one year old snakes are eating small adult rats by now.

yes i can get them. after we get in our new place i plan on doing my own rats. so all this time i have been sorta starving her?? :tears: I fell so bad, she has never showd and issues.

One great thing about Balls is their ability to recover quite quickly from long-term malnurishment if given the proper conditions and food. We took in a 5 year old female that weighed under 1000 grams about 2 years ago. She layed 8 eggs last June at about 2500 grams. Give her a proper sized meal once a week, and she will grow very quickly compared to what you have seen.
