Anyone know the details of the 48-year-old BP?

When I thought of getting a BP (I ended up getting a Hognose), I checked many sites for information. One of the things that I found interesting is that they live for such a long time. The longest living BP lasted 48 years! But I want to know more about that elderly python, like who owned it? How long was it?

As I understand it from the Barkers Book, it was owned by a Zoo somewhere in Tennesee?

(I am basing this off of memory, so someone please feel free to correct me)

The info is on the Barkers' site.. I think on the ball python care sheet. I just ran across it the other day.

I'm almost positive that it was owned by the Houston Zoo in Texas. It was a small adult when they got it in, so it is assumed that the snake was roughly 50 years old when it died. I believe that was the oldest living snake ever recorded.

According to VPI it was Philadelphia Zoo.

If I did I would just find a bunch of caresheets that would've happened to say "48 years old".
