bp in cd

so i was just sitting here on the computer with my baby bp...and hes making hes way around my desk...when i see him caught in a cd...i wish i had my camera by me so i could take a pic...but he couldnt get out so i had to cut the cd up...i dont think ever had to be so careful cutting something before....

what is the weirdest thing you've seen you bp caught in

I generally don't let my animals roam unsupervised to where they would get caught in anything.
I suggest a little more care when letting the animals roam, I'm sure that was very stressful for him to be stuck like that.

My bp got stuck in my sister's hair once while she was holding it. She had her hair tied and my snake kept wanting to hook his tail into part of it. I had to carefully straighten him out to get him untangled.

its not like was letting him go with me watching i looked at the screen for like 2secs and he was in the cd stuff happens

Actually, it took more than 2 seconds. When you have your snake out, your complete attention should be on him - yours wasn't, or it wouldn't have happened.

I know it seems like we're being killjoys, but we love these animals, and it bothers some of us when we see someone being so casual and thinking a situation that could have ended very badly for you if you couldn't get him out was amusing (this time it was a cd case, next time, it may be something you can't get him out of so easily).

They are animals to be respected, and treated respectfully, not allowed to just crawl around and get into things. Their life is literally in your hands.

One time one of my bigger girls decided that it would be warm to go down my shirt. She went through the neck, down the back, and looped her tale around my bra strap. I seriously could not get her off me. My room-mate had to come and strip me down to pry her off...lmao

It's not always carelessness. I had to cut mine out of my beltloop a couple weeks ago. She got stuck WHILE I was holding her. :oops:But my thoughts when I pick up my snake are not on beltloops. I never even think about beltloops because I don't normally wear belts. You have to keep an eye on them, but lets face it , crap happens. I don't think any of us plan on them getting into bad spots. Learn from it and be a little more aware in the future. At least she was unharmed.:)
