New little Herper! (DU warning)

25 mintues after midnight on december 4th, after 20 hours of labor Riley Alarah Mason took her first breath. It's our first child and it's amazing how instant you can love something so much. I bawled like a little girl and spent the entire time at the hospital fawning over her. Now that we're home I figured I'd take a little time out to introduce her to everyone, here she is :)

She is so adorable. You are right, the amount of love you feel for such a precious little thing is completely indescribable. Completely overwhelming.

Thanks all, she's adorable, we can't stop playing with her! it's hard to let her get proper sleep because we want to hold and play with her!

Nope not at all :yes:

she's proven herself to be a great baby so far. She's not fussy and rarely cries. The only time she cries is when you're changing her diaper (she doesn't like being cold I suppose) and sometimes she'll start faux crying if you're not holding her and it stops the second you pick her and then she wants to "talk" to you :)

She amazes me everyday. I feel truly lucky to have her and Ashley.

J.R., I remember my ex-husband sitting with our first baby, a daughter, when she was all of about a month old. I could hear him muttering something and listened in. He was saying something to the effect of "no guy is going to come sniffing around you when you're 14!!!" I fell over laughing! Here she's all of a month old and he's already fretting about her teen years and nasty boys with evil intentions LMAO!

Haha Ashley and I were talking about what gun I was going to need to get to scare the boys off, and we've also talked about other things I would do to keep them away, and she's only 4 days old.
