Morph that loses it's flare when aging?
IMO it's the pastel first and then the spider.

    Just my opinion though.

    Your thoughts?

baby Axanthics are very black and silver see below
    http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/im...xanthic_24.jpg

when they grow up they get less and les silver and some even end up looking almost normal

I think they look better as they age but that's just me.

I think the Silver Bullet would be the one loosing it's flare.

Well here is my contention with the whole thread.

Bare with me here, but ALL animals look the "Best" when they are babies.

In BPs, this is especially true.

One cannot really expect anything to look as cute or as young/youthful/etc when you get older.

Things fade, things sag, things... grow hair... etc...

I think that since most people only see the photos of baby BPs, that this mindset is forming that they look "uglier" with age.

    I disagree completely.

They just mature into the tones in which they were destined to take.

    So there. :P

If I had to pick one from the little I've seen of the adults it would have to be the axanthic's. Some pastel's are very nice as adult's, spider's are always hott in my book I don't think they change much at all.:2cent:

Spiders look better aged imo. I wish I could find a pastel that looked remotely close to Winston. 2 Months of searching for a pastel has yielded me nothing.

Define aging? What's the oldest ball python morph you've seen grow up, out of curiosity?

I will have to disagree with the above statement. I say this because there is one morph that I truly believe looks better and better with each shed. I have yet to see a Caramel Albino that does not look better as an adult. My adult Caramael looks five times better than when I got him at 300 grams, and the Caramels that I hatched this year are nowhere near what they looked like when they hatched. I also have the same feelings about Hypomelanistic animals. All of my adults and yearlings look way beeter than when they were tiny. I just look at it as growing into their beauty.

In general, most animals do look best as hatchlings, but not ALL of them.

So you are saying that stick gooey just hatched shiney baby didn't look as good as big bad mamajama now?

I retract my ALL statement, but I think in general, my point still stands.

In general, yes. That is why I wrote my last statement about most morphs/normals looking better as hatchlings.
