Rude Petco Employee

Well I was at Petco buying feeders and I was helped by a lady who appeared to be going home but she helped me anyway, since everyone else was busy. I though "Oh nice". I asked for my 2 mice and a little bit of bedding. After she was done she handed me the box and said and I quote: "Now that I am off the clock I can be a (rhymes with witch =D). Would you like me to feed your frickin snakes for you too?"

Now I was kind of taken back by this, because I am always mindful of low wage employees. I am usually very patient and everything is accompanied by a please and thank you. After I check out and get in my car I realize wtf? I got pretty angry over it. Got home and called and had a nice chat with the manager.

Hope she gets fired honestly. End rant.

thats absolutely rediculous, and they wonder why they get paid minmum wage. imagine the loving care that the animals get at that place!!!!!

This only proves that they hire idiots ;).Since she was off the clock she should not be helping anyone,so i bet she gets fired.I hope the B likes being unemployed :rofl:

Don't get me wrong Petco is normally pretty good, except for their feeder prices are a little high. I'm willing to pay more cause they are bigger and overall look much healthier than other around here.

yea feeder prices are rediculous but thats almost anywhere you go but if u go to petsmart they will yell at you for trying to buy live mice for food

I have a very manly and very (w)itchy lady who works at my Petco. She really pissed me off last time she got me some mice and rats, so I asked her if I did something or if she acts like an a$$hole to everyone. She said "I'm just a (w)itch". "oh, ok". Like you said, I'm very patient and polite, but this one makes it a point to show how angry and uncaring she is at all times. There are 2 really nice and helpful ladies who work there. I always look forward to seeing one of them if I run out of rats.

This is off topic, but my last post reminded me of a funny story. I was at my liquor store over the summer and I got in line behind this early 80's looking guy in polyester with a little mustasche and feathered hair. A guy walked in and yelled, "Hey nice 'vette, who's is it?" Mr. 1984 turns with a grin and says, "Thank y...". "Do you always park like a F'N J@ghoff?! :taz: Mr. 84 got scared and started stuttering :tears:and they got into it a little, but he was completely double parked in the only 2 spots on front of the store. It was awesome. Sorry, back to Petco. :rofl:

What a snot. If someone treated me like that, their manager and I would be having a conversation, definately! I did my time in retail, and my hide would have been in the unemployment line if I acted like that. If I had to be nice to customers, then so should they..

i just hate workers like that
