Finally got her to hold my balls!! haha

So i went home for thanksgiving break and i have a friend that has always been afraid of snakes so this break i finally got her to hold them!! it's a good feeling when you can help someone get over their fear...she didn't wanna give them back haha here are some pics.

Awesome!! Good work converting her. :D It's such a rewarding feeling when you get someone that's really, really scared to hold one of your snakes and actually be comfortable with it. The number one response I get is: "Wow...they really aren't slimy! They're smooth!"

Way to go, converting the girlies! Now can you get my husband's 60-y/o uncle to tolerate snakes and hold them? I can't.

come change my wifes mind. :P she knows i have snakes, and kinda supports me but still runs to the other side of my house when i pull them out, or is like "get away or else im going to smack you" eh, maybe another 20 years and she'll realize its my passion and my love for them that keeps me going

haha yup especially girls...(no offense to any girls here) but girls always act more grossed out by snakes, it was a challenge to get them to hold them but after a while they finally gave in and now they want one

I've noticed this with chicks: either they really like and are interested in reptiles--or they're extremely petrified of them! I grew up in Florida and I was always catching snakes, frogs and lizards when I was a kid. I've always been very interested in reptiles. My mother (a native Floridian) won't come NEAR Auryn--and it took my dad awhile to hold him. My sister's fascinated, though. She and my cousin, Ashley were amazed when they watched him eat (because of how wide he could open his mouth).

I've introduced Auryn to a few girls at college, all of them were really excited to get to hold him. My friend Rob's girlfriend refuses to come anywhere near him, though--she's got some sort of snake phobia.

I just got my best friends, girl friend to come over and hold my ball. Don't tell him though! HAHAHA just joking, he was there with her, but he wouldn't hold it. She was the only one who had the balls! Funny eh!
And then they thought it was funny I insisted they wash there hands afterwards with my hand sanitizer!
