news: cueball finished internship at VPI :news

Some of you may remember I started an internship program at VPI this spring. I have recently finished it and have moved back to Austin, TX. It was an amazing experience and I learned more than I could have imagined. Dave and Tracy Barker are an endless source of information and I will cherish every moment spent with them. I highly recommend doing something simular if you ever have the opprotunity. It's all about the animals :D

Wow! That is an opportunity that could only come to very few. You are fortunate.

I am still so envious of you Chris!! Glad you had such a memorable time there, but then again, how could you not!? Any deep words of wisdom from the Barkers you want to share with us? :D

I would have to say the correlation between over feeding and reproductive complications.

If it's not a secret, how do the Bakers keep their balls lean? And what do they consider ideal breeding weight?

They keep them cool(80 f) and feed them less. Slower metabolism and less waste :gj: They are kept "athletic".

congrats cue... what a great experience that must have been for you. seemed a lot longer than six months though...
