What do you prefer?

Hi all-

If you has a choice in any healthy, thriving reptile species what would you choose age wise?

I prefer hatchlings, I like knowing the temperment and quirks from the beginning, no surprises.

yeah im with you. i want the animal to grow with me and be used to me from a young age.

Hatchlings yea they may be unpredictable but they grow with you so u know how they react

Since I'm still not that experienced a snake owner, I prefer sub-adults: still young to spend life with you, but already established eaters with a clear personality...so you know what you're getting into. :D

yup :D

All age groups. I like getting them as hatchlings, but also like getting my hands on a lrg adult. Like them at any age! If I'm going for cute factor, then hatchling is it!!:D

Hatchling, just like to watch them grow!

All of them! But if it's going to be living in our home, I prefer a hatchling to watch it grow. But I'm not against any age rescue....

I like hatchlings too, but I'm always so ready for them to grow up, because I REALLY love the adults. Nothing like a nice full grown bp. I've adopted adults that were just as sweet natured (if not more so) than babies.

Depends on the difficulty of the species in question...

If they are flighty, hard to raise little buggers that have very specific husbandry issues, I would prefer subadult to adult.

If they were simple, I wouldn't mind hatchlings.
