Ever eat crawfish?
I have been pondering placing an online order but never had them.
I live up here in Philly and I never see them anywhere in stores and such.
Are they good?
Are there better times of year to get that at?

Re: Ever eat crawfish?
I destroy crawfish every time i visit Louisiana.
is sooo gooooood....:weirdface

Re: Ever eat crawfish?
crawfish are good if they are cooked right, I really like the ones that are cooked in some cajun seasoning. I'm not sure what season is best because I'm originally from the south and we had them around almost all year.

Re: Ever eat crawfish?
I'll trade some Philly Cheese Steaks and Soft Pretzels for some. :gj:

Re: Ever eat crawfish?
I love crawfish and cook it whenever I can find it locally. Last week I made an awesome crawfish bisque, and I make a killer cajun crawfish and cheese stuffed halibut or swordfish. Crawfish diablo sauce on grilled or broiled mahi-mahi is may favorite meal. I have a ton of recipes I've come up with if you decide to make the order. I don't care for shrimp or lobster too much, but crawfish is delicious.

You know Mike and I are determined to move south in a few years. I truly think I will need to order this book...

Now if I only could get a grasp on how to "get the vapors"! *goes off to continue to Google this* :P
Oh and on the whole crawfish thing. Went to Florida years ago, watched a rather large man, his rather large wife and their rather VERY large son feast on those things at an all you can eat buffet place. They eat untold pounds of the buggie things! Let's just say it was a less than appetizing sight and I've never had to nerve to try one myself since.

Re: Ever eat crawfish?
I only had them once myself. They were OK, but it seemed like an awful lot of work for such a tiny chunk of meat.
