How big is your biggest bp?

i was just wondering. how big is YOUR biggest ball python?

Thanks for fixing this! I wanted to vote earlier, but the poll said hatchling size and the one vote (I'm assuming yours) said 3 feet! I was like, WHAT!?!?! Haha!

My Mitch is 53" and Tahvi is 58"

We should do a poll in grams too :D I know a lot of people like their BP's thick :D

There's one going on about how old your oldest BP is and people are generally including size (length and weight). I like the poll idea cause you can see the info and not have to scroll through every reply.

but sometimes some of the best info is hidden in the replies.

if i had a bigger screen, it might not be so annoying to scroll so much :P haha!

Our biggest is a female named Brannagh. She's assumed to be an 02. She's just over 3,200 grams in weight and about 5 feet in length (give or take a few inches...she's a bear to try and measure these days LOL).

I had one last summer that was just a hair over 6ft and weighed in at 17 pounds Guy had been in a bad car accident and i kept it from winter into early fall Glad to say i got 11 eggs out of her before i had to give her back
sad to say i couldnt talk the guy into selling me the behemoth as it was nothing more than his pet ...

Dang those are some big balls! haha. i cant wait till mine is bigger.

I only record their weight so the biggest girl is 2200+ grams

me too............1741grams tonight!

4ft around 1800g

4'3'' and 2100g, off feed for winter...

and a new rescue found in someone's yard, way underweight but feeding voraciously, 4'7'' and 1500g.

Over 5 ft and 4800 gms

My guy is almost 10 years old and about 4 feet give or take a few inches. Not sure as far as weight though. I'm guessing a few lbs lol I dunno.

when do bp's stop growing? does anyone know?

snakes never stop growing, which is why they shed their skin throughout their life. after the snake hits maturity the growth slows down dramatically, but it continues, a process known as indeterminate growth

My biggest girl is just shy of five feet, and is 2600-2800 depending on her *processes*. I posted these pics another thread a few days ago, but here she is. This is the most recent pic of her.

The male in this pic was 700-800g at the time, he is 1000g now.

Dang mine is only 1090g and is about 4 ft. and 3 years old. She hasn't ate in over a month. :(

My normal male is a late '05 or early '06, and is approx 4'.

wouldnt this also come down to what size rat you feed. LOL i have one female that is about 3000g. i think brock has one of the biggest females i have ever seen she is like 6000g.

Here is Natasja.. She was born mid '04. She weighed 2100 grams last time she shed which was about 7 weeks ago. She's about 4 ft long.

Here's Priscilla. She's about 10 - 11 yrs old. Around 3000 grams. About 4'5'' long. She's never still for long enough to get measured or weighed.

My biggest girl is some where around 3000 grams.

My one and only girl just topped the scale at a whopping 200g and just under 2'! LOL I'm scared to death for her to reach the length and weight of the others posted here but on the other hand, I can't wait!
