How old is your OLDEST BP?

I know BP's can live a long time in captivity (20-30 yrs or more), but was wondering how old the snakes you all have are. Comment if you want, as well. Thanks!

Mr. Brian Gundy of for-goodness-snakes.com has a 20 year old female that is freaking huge! over 10 pounds easilly. he got her when she was 15 and now she is 20 years old. super docile too here is a pic of me holding her at the san jose reptile expo

The oldest one that I have that I can confirm is 10years old.

I think my oldest is around 23... The reason I say this is because I cannot absolutely confirm the age of the animal, other than from the three years I have had her, and the "twenty" years the person who had her before said she was.

Our oldest is Big Bertha, she was a pet for 12 years before we adopted her and we've had her for 3 years. She is no longer breeding as she became egg bound 2 years after we got her and we had to have them surgically removed. She's a great pet now.

My oldest is currently 21. I've had her since she was a baby and I was 7. I told my mother that for my birthday that I wanted an alligator or a ball python. I still have her, she still breeds and goes every other year. She averages 12 eggs and is currently just over 5700 grams.

Wow! That is awesome!

I have 7 year old around 3000 grams. When ever I take her out my wife gasps. Sweet as a kitten but huge!

My oldest is a male the first ball i owned. He is 14 years old.

On the subject of big old balls (cough). Does anyone know if there seems to a difference in longevity between male and females?
I know that BPs rate of growth slows heavily but never stops - how big were those 20 yr old 5kg snakes at age 5 and ten for instance?

I have 2 '03's. The first snake I ever got was a '00 but he escaped on me.

I only have two currently but they are both yearlings

Dez is my oldest, he is 8 years old. i have a huge female (over 5ft and over 8 lbs) but i have no idea how old she is.

I have one female thats about 6 years old. I've only had her for a week but the guy that I bought her from had the paperwork on her showing that she was born in 02. She's about 1600g my biggest BP so far :D

Holy Crap!!! buy that girl a drink!

I have two 21 year olds (since hatchlings). Very sporadic feeders. Mine eat 12-14 large/jumbo rats a year...
