Just another name or line of pastel.... The few adults I have seen seem to be incredibly clean as adults. In a way they look like Axanthic Pastels or Dessert Ghosts as adults without the browning out effect.

I'll be looking to produce more in 08'

Very nice! There was a Super Rupple in the Classifieds earlier this year that was just ungodly. I really wanted to pick it up but just couldn’t swing the cash at the time. I hope he does real well for you.

Scott he looks great! They look awesome as adults, I saw an adult male at a show in my area once and still regret not picking him up. I wonder why I never really see this line for sale at all...

I think everyone is too busy producing Graz, Bell, Lemon and other lines. At least that's my 1.2c view.

Here is the super, Stan Rupple said he produced this from breeding a rupple to a browned out Bell.... if that's the case then there is something to be said for browned out pastels!

I think the Rupple line is what used to be called 'stone washed' ? Looking at those last two pics, you can see why, it certainly has a unique look. BTW, is it spelled Rupple or Ruppel?

You sir are correct, they are called stonewashed pastels also and I believe the correct spelling is Ruppel, after Stan Ruppel who started working with the line.

Doesn't this one look the same as the one I posted? Could be the same one at different ages.....

    Thanks!

Well, my only female pastel that is of breeding size is hooked up with my cinny pastel... but I have 3 other female pastels that should be ready by the time this little guy is ready.

Combos are something I have been wanting to do with this one we have. I don't know if these will change the look of the combos, bee's etc, but I can have some fun finding out.

Time will tell as they say :)

You are 100% correct on that one. They both have the same exact pattern. Looking at it again it could have even been taken at the same time just a different exposure on the one I posted makes it look lighter.
