    He didn't make it...
Sorry to post bad news, but little Fred didn't make it. He died this evening. He was warm and loved when he passed---I did everything I could for the little fella. Gotta admit, I still cried. Almost crying again writing this out, but I have a little closure knowing I did everything I could for him...

Just sucks that your best sometimes still isn't enough.

Anyway, thanks for all your prayers. Keep sending them... Fred'll still appreciate them.

Awww, I'm sorry. Sometimes no matter what you do, they just don't make it. At least he had a chance with you.

My mother was caring for him while I was at work... on my way home, she mentioned that he wasn't doing very well as all. He had started shaking very badly right before she was getting ready to feed him. He was still alive when I got home, but barely. I cleaned him up, wrapped him up, and just tried to keep him warm. He passed quickly.

I would like to thank you for all your support. You are some amazing, knowledgeable people! I feel he would have suffered a great deal more if not for your advice and prayers.

Because of this support, I won't be afraid to try again if the situation arises...

Lynn I'm so sorry Fred didn't make it. I'm sorry I was working while he passed, but I'm sure you had someone to talk to. Don't worry Lynn, you know I'm always here for you. My prayers go out to you and everyone who helped with Fred. R.I.P little buddy, even though I never saw you, you will be missed.. I was looking forward to meeting you. Lynn I hope you feel better. You ever need to talk, I'll try to come online when I have a chance. Best wishes hun!

Awww Lynn, I'm so sorry to read this. At least little Fred didn't pass alone and cold on the streets but rather warm and cuddled in your arms. Sometimes that's all we can do but I know right now that's a very small comfort to you.

I'm so sorry Fred didn't make it Lynn. :tears:

I am sure though that if a pet passes away, it's just got to be better if he or she is being held by someone who loves them.
