    Albino's
Have any of you noitced your albino's prefering to eat in the dark instead of the light being on in the room? Cause today mine would not hit the pup til I finally turned the light off. He's alway's been a shy predator but maybe now I found out why.

Not mine ... I've got a bunch of albinos and they practically leap out of their tubs for food ... a couple of them will take your face off on feeding day if you get too close ;) ... I do have some shy feeders of mixed types (normals, pastels, etc) that won't eat if you're in the room or without a hide box, but I don't think it has anything to do with the type of mutation they are ... just that each snakes "personality" is different regardless of it's genetics.

I don't have an albino. Does anyone want to send me one so I can test this theory? :please:

I just fed my new Albino this week for the first time.

It looked like she knew the rat was dead. She grabbed it without the speed my other balls do and began eating without constricting. I have never seen this before...

My albino is probably my best feeder. My hets are great, too. They all eat whatever I throw in the tub no matter what time of day.

I've noticed a higher probability in feedings when it's dark rather than when the lights are on. But some will take whatever, whenever, lol.

Also, for those stubborn feeders... if you see them in shed, make sure they have lots of water, and the day/night that they shed, wait until it's dark and offer something live/prekilled, and smaller than usual. I've had like a 98.6% success rate getting a stubborn feeder to get back on track this way.

Did you know that 43.8% of statistics are made up?
