Sorry I have been MIA

I know I have not been around for quite a while and just wanted to let everyone know why I have been missing and that I am now back.
My husband was in the hospital for almost a month due to a genetic lung disease that he has. Found out the home that we bought just a month before he went in the hospital was full of mold.....hence the reason he was so sick. Had to get the house fixed to get rid of, find a new place to live....which we have and it is mold free:), and my daughter Katelynn was induced and delivered my beautiful, perfect grandson on October 9th...His name is Anthony and the stats are 7lbs 14 oz and 19 1/4 inches long. I am almost completely settled in the new place so I will do my best to get back on track and start participating on this wonderful site and to post pics of the baby....OH....All the critters are doing great despite all of the moving they have been subjected to. Look forward to catching up on all that has happened.

What a difficult time you've gone through! But I know there is all sorts of good that will come out of it! I'm glad your husband is on the mend and you found a new home to settle into! And I'm so glad for such a beautiful, healthy grandson! I will remember you and your family in my prayers, for continued health and healing and blessings and peace!!! :hug:

Oh Lisa what a lot of stress that was in such a short time. I know it might sound awful to say but thank goodness in some ways your husband reacted so quickly to that mold and that made you discover it. Had he or that precious baby been exposed to it over a long period of long time, things could have been a lot worse. Mold really scares me having watched it cause seizures in one of my children before we too discovered we were living in a new home full of mold. Very scary stuff.

Glad your husband is doing better and your grandson is just a total cutie pie!

Your grandson is so precious!!! I miss my kids being all tiny and cuddly like that. ***Sighs*** Now (at 4 and 3 yrs) they are too independent and too "busy" to be cuddling with mommy anymore...

I know what you mean...when my daughter was pregnant I was all sentimental about when the kids were little. Now that Anthony is here it seems I am in more amazement with him than I was with my kids....maybe not....I could and do sit and stare at him for hours on end:)

Glad to hear your husband is okay. Mold can be deadly. It amazes me how dangerous something as small as mold spores can be.
