I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
but can't WAIT till they get BIG! It's SO easy to take photos of them while they're still little :)
We picked up this girl recently and I am absolutely in love with her coloration! She is a female Dwarf Albino Genetic Stripe and was actually the first Albino Genetic Stripe ever produced! We picked her up from Brandon Boeke at the Tinley Park show last weekend and I haven't had a chance to take any pictures of her till now.
We also picked up her parents so I'm hoping to breed them this coming season to produce more of these beauties. Maybe we'll luck out and produce a Lavender or Purple Albino Genetic Stripe!
This girl also has one of the absolute sweetest temperments out of ALL our snakes! She loves the camera and did a great job posing for me. The last picture of her is one of my new favorite photos! For those of you on high speed internet, if you're interested in seeing the FULL SIZED version of that photo, just click on the link right below it. HOWEVER, if you're on dial-up, DON'T click the link because the file size is HUGE (3.55MB)!
Let me know what you think!

Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
She's stunning. This is one I want to see when she's all grown up! What a gorgeous, unique looking snake.
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
OMG....that is one of the best retics I have ever seen....let alone any snake for that matter.
If I had the funds for one I would have twenty lol...:please:
Thanks so much for sharing...I definatley want to see some growing up pictures in the future.

Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
WOW! I love the 5th and 6th photo!! The 5th one screams "DRAGON" to me :) It's such a dragony-looking face! And the tongue shot is amazing. She's a beautiful snake! YUM!
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
that last one is amazing. wow. just wow.
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
Beautiful!! I hope to own a dwarf/super dwarf retic one day!
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
I was the fourth person to ever see this snake. She was still in her first shed after hatching. I thought she was beautiful then, and she looks even better now. I don't keep retics, but seeing retics in person made really appreciate their beauty.
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
Gasp........ :judge: The white phase albinos are one of my fav snakes ever... but I think that might be one of the most awesome snakes I've ever seen. I love albino ticks period, but that is off the chart!
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
:tongue2: Wow... wowie wow wow... Man, if they stayed that size I would be *all* over the retics. :P
Re: I LOVE Them While They're Still Small...
Thanks for the compliments on the snake and the photos everyone!!
This girl is one of my new favorite snakes not only because she's beautiful but she's got such a sweet temperament! I wish I could say the same about her parents though LOL. Oh well, I guess they can't ALL be mild tempered...too bad the fiesty ones are 10 to 13 feet!

I don't know about having them stay that small BUT, I've got a few female Super Dwarves that are 100% Het. Albino that I'm raising up. I'm hoping to produce a male Dwarf Albino Genetic Stripe in the future so that I can breed him to a couple of these girls. I think a Super Dwarf Albino Genetic Stripe would be AWESOME. With a few generations, we might be able to work them down! Can you imagine this snake topping out at 5 to 8 feet long?! That's boa sized!
Thanks,
Celia
