NARBC Show in Chantilly, VA on 10/27 and 10/28

Anyone going next weekend? I will be there with my hubby and two boys (3 and 6). My husband said credit cards will be left in the car. But I will have a pocket!

I will be there....I believe that a bunch of us are going.....We'll be the ones in 8ball pythons shirts!

I hear it's gonna be a bangin' show :clap:

Glad more folks are coming out! How do I get one of those 8Ball T-Shirts? His website? I didn't see Adam on the vendor list. Too bad. :( Maybe someone should set up a contest to design a BP.net t-shirt. Then we could have our own, too.

I'll be looking for a rosy boa, but also just checking out what other snakes tickle my fancy, beside balls. Ooops. Maybe I should reword that? Nah.

I went to Maryland to the (8ball studio) bought one snake, i was told i could have one shirt................i left with three! :D

Where was everyone????????i was there from 9am until 2pm and only gave cue a stalker nod ( if it was thats why i didnt speak up)...and where was VPI?

I met a few people, mostly around the outback reptiles booth...

More importantly, i got some pretty cool stuff at pretty damn cool prices.

I heard from a few vendors that it was pretty slow-going around there, as far as these things go.

I was there yesterday and saw a pretty good show of support for Adam...lot's of 8-Ball t-shirts!!! BHB had some really cool stuff. All I went home with was a Hog Island Boa from Outback Reptiles and a couple hissing cockroaches (my son's)...met Marc Bailey and talked to him for a little while...very cool guy. It was a good time...:)

Adam was there. I talked to him very briefly, but we had just arrived and the kids were yanking me away to go check out all those gorgeous balls! (Ryan, our 6 yr old kept asking to hold snakes at the booth for "The Snake Keeper." Of course, they were all over $10,000! So the answer was no.)

I also met Cueball and Daaanconcepts at the BHB booth. (I hope I wasn't rude to you guys. I know I wasn't talkative AT ALL. I was still a deer in the headlights since it was my first show!)

We didn't meet anyone else since we didn't have any 8Ball shirts (Adam didn't bring extras). But next year we'll have ours on, too, once we get some from him.

We got a baby, male Kenyan Sand Boa from BHB. He's cute, but so tiny that I keep thinking of the giant earthworm my husband found on the front sidewalk during the rain the other night. Weird!

And it was fun to the see the adult balls in person. We now know what we are in for in a couple years.

Can't wait for next year!

I was there Sat morning until about noon. I saw a few 8ball tshirts but didn't get a chance to meet anyone. I had mine on and mine is one of the older style ones w/ ""8ballpythons" small across the left hand side.
I saw Brad(elevatethis ) and Vaughn( Kavom ) and Adam was there in a cool looking red 8ballpython shirt. I had to meet up w/ him to p/up my little 100% hetalbino girl from him.
I heard a few vendors saying how slow it was.
I saw some really nice pieds over at Peter Kahl's booth. That shall be my next purchase.
Checked out Herp enclosures racks and I am sold, that will be my next rack purchased.
Had a good time and wish I had met some of you who were there.

I thought it was a pretty quiet show...has definite potential though. I think the problem is that there are so many other smaller crappier shows in the area that happen so often, so the interest for the high end stuff that a lot of the show vendors brought wasn't there.

Sorry, we had the camera but failed to take any pics. We were too busy being overwhelmed and recovering from the shock of losing our 3 yr old for 2 minutes! But next yr. I promise!
