I wonder if the females used, have any effect on the amount of spotting the spider offspring wold have? Like, would a reduced normal female bred to a spider male, produce babies with less spotting than a more normally patterned female? Just shooting this out there.. I guess I will find out for myself either way.

The simple answer is that the Normal parent definitely affects the pattern on the offspring. I have produced 22 Spiders to date, and I have noticed that reduced, bright normals produce the brightest, cleanest Spiders. Just my opinion, as others may differ.

Oh thanks! Mark's cousin came by and saw that blushing one, and i think I have him sold. He is so used-to normal BPs as he works at Petco.. he was literally stunned at seeing a baby Pastel! Of course I would teach him about owning and caring for them properly, as opposed to Petco protocol..
