The Het's are Hypo Burms... These Produce a super form, the "Phantom Hypo Leucy". They look somewhat like the Super Phantom Ball, but start fading n such from what I know, after they get a bit older....

??? So...the snakes pictured here are "Phantom Hypo Leucies"? They started out with a pattern that has since faded into this creamy white?
(NOT doubting you...just trying to be sure I understand some new morphs and genetics I hadn't encountered before)

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia
They're the Super form of the Hypo's. I guess so named, because they weren't exactly Leucistics... the pattern is kind of a light pinkish, purple.

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia
Very cool! Got any pics (links) of those hypos and their super hatchlings? This is fascinating to me and I'd love to learn more!

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia
BallRoom Pythons South is the place to go to. They produced the first in the USA. This is still a new morph for Burms... Just check out their website. They have some Hypo's available for about $10,000 or so...

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia
I couldn't find any pics on their website, though I remember seeing pics a few months ago on the burm forum of another site. I seem to remember that it was a codominant mutation and the heterozygous form was a very light looking burmese python. I wish I had saved some pictures.

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia

The lesser form is my kinda like the fire ball python. It's a hypoish looking burm that grows lighter with age and has an erratic hard edged pattern. The like the lesser better than the super form.

Re: New leucistic burms in indonesia
And here's a lucy burm on Bob's site:
http://www.bobclark.com/d_learn.asp?id=37&cat=learn
It doesn't look like the one's originally posted here. As Chris says...this looks like a lesser/fire distinction. So which hets produce those icy blue eyes???
