Every evening, at least twice, Unut's gotten up on the back of the couch. I finally caught him in the act!

Boys he's getting big and even more gorgeous than he was as a baby! What breed of rabbit is he, Sheree? I know you've mentioned it before but my mind is drawing a blank.

Unut Monster (apparently, this is his full name now, lol!) is a Hotot mix. :) A pure Hotot would have white ears, and just the black eyeliner. I love that he's a mix because the black ears are so cute! No idea what he's mixed with though. All our bunnies are mutts.

I suspect Unut is more than half Hotot though because his looks, size, and fur texture are all very true to the breed. He weighs more than Cleo, I'm trying to remember how much... He's heavy! Like 7 or 9lbs I think. 7 or 9lbs of pure adorable spaz!

We'd really like to get a giant breed too, someday. :D Like a French Lop or a Flemmish Giant... or a mix of either! We  our snakes and bunnies. Adorable + quiet = good for the creative process and peace of mind, lol! Spazzy & mischevious = good for home entertainment too.

He is too cute!! Besides the ears and around the eyes, is the rest of him all white?

And I absolutely love flemish giants!! Really want one of those someday (but really need to get some more room first!!) LOL

    Unut is totally adorable!!!

Yes, he is otherwise completely white *except* for a tiny bitty black dot above his tail. It's a cute little beauty spot you really have to look for, lol! I only know it's there from brushing him. But otherwise, yes, snow white and super soft. I'm fascinated how each of our bunnies has a totally different texture, like our different snake species have different textures. :D

I hear Flemish Giants are major sweethearts too! I'd always thought we'd go for dwarf breeds, in fact I'd planned on a dwarf hotot when we just happened to find and fall in love with Unut. Turns out... we adore the big squishy bunnies!! Big and huggable!

I'm sure I have more bunny pile pics around here somewhere, lol. :D I'll see what I can do! I need more snake pics too, especially of Gomez (so handsome!)

Here's some vids of my bunnies in the meantime  Capturing their personalities is fun, rofl. They're SO sweet... it's hard to believe there was a time in my life where we had no bunnies or snakes!

Awww... the vids are too adorable!!

Does your cat get along with your rabbits? I had a dwarf rabbit named Snickers one time that was litter box trained and basically had run of the living room and kitchen (with much rabbit proofing of course!!). She used to run up to one of the cats (usually the one that was twice her size) and basically pounce on her then dart in the other direction, which would then start a game of bunny/kitty tag. Then when they all tired themselves out, Snickers used to curl up with the cats and go to sleep. I have pics somewhere..will have to scan them into the computer sometime.

Hehe, thank you! And I'd love to see pics!!

My cat is very elderly, and was already very elderly when we got the buns. She's extremely stand offish with them, and they've learned to let her alone. I did a http://community.livejournal.com/bun...s/2082186.html a few years ago (wow, has it been that long?) on how she coped with Bowie's moving in. Cleo delt a lot better with Unut, who was a little baby at the time. The bunnies would cuddle with her in a second if she'd let them, but she's very weirded off. Usually gets up and walks away if they get close.
