    great "Hallo" update..
well today was the first time i could hold Hallo without him freaking out.. yesterday i didnt even attempt to but he felt great today, still weighs only 4g but has nice bright eyes and was licking the cgd right off my finger! of course at first when i picked him up he was a bit pi$$Y and didnt want to be held, flicked his tail at me but after i offered him food he was happy and even posed on my finger without me feeling like i needed to gently hold him there.. (previous pics were of me actually "holding" him with a finger ontop of his body) today we had none at all.. he was even taking his time climbing back onto his leaves when i put him back :D yeah!!!! now if only i could get this bearded baby to eat!

here are some new pics from today ima proud crested momma today thats for sure :)

btw, is it ok to mist the enclosure daily even though it stays pretty damp? (dew drops on the walls and leaves) im using plastic reptile leaves and paper towels so nothing can get moldy, i just want to make sure thats alright

Ashley those are really cute pics. I love the first pic. I am suprised he held still long enough lol. It took weeks and weeks for me to get my smallest (6 grams at the time) crestie to chill out. She is now pusing 30 grams and climbs up onto my hand if I put it in her cage.

I love his name too, thats a good one :)

:) seems to be a good little crested :D you should see spartan, wanna talk about a chilled out critter, he lets me put him on his back like hes sitting and doesnt move lol. i was pretty quick getting the pics, my camera thankfully with manual settings focus' fast and gets pics surprisingly well most of the time.

thankyou kristy, i too love the first pic, almost looks like hes smiling! as for his name.. i tolda i was taking my time naming him.. wanted something clever and fitting, hallo is actually pronounced hallo as in halloween (not sure if you saw that on the other thread) i figured sort of origional and considering purchased in month of october, well you get the picture :)

thank you looda for the compliment, hes pretty neat looking

you do want the enclosure to dry out between mistings, so just don't mist as much each time or don't get as much on the paper towels which take longer to dry.
