    Orlando Repticon?
Anyone from the south go to the Orlando Repticon today?

Would like to see if it will be worth a 5 1/2 hour drive tomorrow morning.

Ugh, thought I put this in Gen BP :(

Last Feb, Repticon had a show in NJ. It was WORTHLESS! 2 snake vendors. Retile basics and Neil Golli. They where not happy!! Maybe different down there I dont know. But they will never see my money again!

    Blah,

Missed Daytona and your statement seems to be about par for the course for most of the Repticon shows.

Is there a F.I.R.E. show in the works? Pretty sure one just passed not too long ago. Thought I saw it on a schedule someplace but their site doesn't show anything.

5 1/2 hours is not worth your time for the orlando repticon shows. They're really small and when i've gone i've walked around for about 15 minutes before leaving.

Unfortunately they backed the F.I.R.E. show down to 1 per year, which has already happened. Now, that is a show that is worth a 5 hour drive ;) Other than that, Daytona is the one show i book a year in advance now :D

Repticon is not worth driving 5 1/2 hours in my opinion. I say that and I have a table there this weekend!

The event has been growing over the past year, but it is still small compared to the FIRE show (only 1 time / year at Nate said), the Tampa show (3 weeks ago), or the granddaddy, Daytona.

This show there is probably 40 vendors, about 5 or 6 specialize in ball pythons (they have more than normals and more than 1 or 2 morphs). Other tables have a few normals . . . .

I agree with everything above, the only reason I went to Repticon yesterday was to pick up 2 baby girls from Alice. Dont worry only 10 more months till Daytona.

Bah, I'm trying to get an Albino Female and a 100% Het male for my wifes birthday. Was hoping I could strike a deal at a show and avoid a net purchase.

I bet Alice could certainly hook you up with that. She had some real nice albinos at the FIRE show...Last I read, she is certified to ship and I've shipped and received ball pythons in the past without problems. Are you worried about animals being shipped to you? If you are....don't be ;) it's safe! :D

I'm not worried about it, had my pair of pastels shipped. I would rather just buy them in person.
It's always easier to "strike up a good deal" face to face rather than through e-mails.
Seeing the animal in person is also a little more desirable.

Jeremy is right, I sold out of our albinos immediately this year. We produced some really high contrast babies that people just snapped up as soon as they saw them.

Good luck on finding that perfect gift for your wife.

It was great meeting you and your neighbors Jeremy. I know those 2 girls you bought will thrive under your care. Call me with any questions.
