"Official" I'm here! thread: Chicago NARBC

My wife and I made it here around 5:00 Illinois time. We are actually down the road from the convention center about 9 miles but it was MUCH cheaper this way. We will also be investing in a GPS this winter...many of the exit signs where down and there was much construction. We drove way past and had to turn back...but we made with some help from a local and we where not to far away.

Can't wait for tomorrow! Now must find food!

Lol, I actually just planned out travel for marketing event going on in Chicago this weekend... many of my coworkers will be there. Shoulda asked to come and snuck away to the show!!! Damn!

I'm driving my wife nuts LOL, I can't wait until tomorrow. There isn't much to do tonight so now that we have food we are sitting in the room watching hotel cable.

Today I picked up a little female Chrildren's...not to many around the show but I was able to pick out where they where hidden. There is an adult female I may buy tomorrow but I'm not sure yet. My wife out of the blue said she misses the pair of boas we raised for a short time and then traded off. She is actually thinking of picking up a red tail now! Well hey I can't say no to that. She also may bring home a small terrarium for a frog setup.

We walked today until we couldn't walk any longer. Every time we passed the isles I saw something that I hadn't noticed before. They may have to change the name of the conference to "North American Ball Python Breeder's Conference" LOL holy cow is there a LOT of ball pythons there.

Well I have to feed my wife again...if it where not for her I would probably forget to eat all this weekend!

Does she really need the hook? ha ha.....I have to use a hook on one of mine everytime I clean cages. The female is mean as hell, yet the male has never struck at me.

Did you see any other dwarfs there? Anthills?

I Went to the show yesturday, It was a blast. Meeting all the big names in the reptile world was pretty awesome. I took lots of pics and ill post them up when i get hom later today. Still in Illinois at my Aunt and Uncle's house.

yay im officially back! We didnt stay for sunday like originally planned, as we have 2 new hot babes to settle in. ;) I'm working on pictures right now, maybe we'll have to start a new "I'm officially at home and in debt" thread. :D

I went! That place was like 10 minutes away from my house, lol. My camera ran ut of batteries right away, so I didnt get to take as many pictures as I wanted to. I was drooling all over all of the snakes! Haha

me and a friend went and drooled on everything. i decided that i'm going with a purpose next year. i wanna get a pastel or a mojave or a spider or a crestie, or... gah i just want all of them! here's a few pics that i took. sorry they're not great...

Daniel: The hook was not needed at all it was purely for the humor! She doesn't seem to have an attitude, maybe I'm lucky but its early yet! We saw several spotted's not to many Children's most of the ones I saw where priced higher than I wanted to pay. There was an adult female for $150 I thought about purchasing but without a male to go with her... I did find an adult pair at the LLL Reptile table but they wanted almost $500! The lone female was gone today and a few of the others where gone...all males I believe. I think I got the only juv female, at least the only one I could find.
