    My new Liasis!!
Among the other snakes I received today from Inland Reptile was this awesome pair of Australian olives. I can't wait to watch these guys grow up!!

These were produced by Nick Mutton.

Congrats on your pick up. I love Liasis species. Olives, Macklotts and whitelips are awesome, and definately will be one of my first acquisitions when I get a house.

Agreed, Olives are simply amazing snakes. How was their temperament out of the box?

I would love to add a couple of these to my collection someday...

They were really pretty mellow. The female was pretty wirey and didn't want to get in her tub though. ;)

My macklotts was the hardest snake to put back. It was like there was an invisable lid that only affected her.

Since I have only owned them for half a day, I can't give you an honest answer yet. I will let you know in a few months.

I don't have one, but from what I've read and my experience with macklots, I think they can be a little spastic or nippy as babies, but usually calm down to become pretty docile by a year old or so.

my olive is as nice as can be, but like most snakes, they do have a pretty strong feeding response... :)
