    unseasonably warm this october
It's been unseasonably hot here in New jersey. i was wondering if any one else has been having temps ni the low 90's high 80's and if any of your bp's started cooling because last year this time my oldest 06 went off feed and resumed in feb. and right now since its been so warm she hasnt gone off feed. was wondering if this is happeneing to any of you other guys out there.

Last year I started cooling October 1...this year, being so warm, I haven't even tried. I'm just waiting on the weather to switch. Hopefully we get a break from this soon...this summer was brutal and I'm ready for fall...

We are having some pretty high temps here in western NY. I planned to start breeding a little late anyway, so this is no big deal.. none of mine have gone off feed in awhile.

Yep, same here. It's still in the mid 90's outside during the day. It was around 65 last night though, felt awesome. Brrr! :)

I don't plan to start cycling everyone until January or February. Gotta get moved into an apartment and that's enough to worry about by itself. All of the snakes are still jumping out of their tubs trying to take my hands off when I go feed, haha.

We're waiting here in northern Ohio too. The last few days it was high 80's, low 90's which is just odd for this late in the year. It started cooling down today so if the weather returns to normal, then we'll worry about cooling the snakes for breeding then.

Actually....I think Canada is warmer than Minnesota right now....ask Chrinuck.:D

But yes, its not uncommon to see people here in shorts right up until the first snowfall...its not like we're hanging around outside building igloos.

They would, as a matter of fact, they have tried ... but the munchie loving invading forces from Canada always get side tracked by those darn 7-11 burritos! :rolleye2:

    It's freezing in new Brunswick.
It's nice and sunny but in the morning it's like 5C and in the day it might reach 15C and I think that like 60F or maybe a lil more. Its' COLD!
I'm gonna have to put my scooter away soon! :(

But my snakes are keeping nice and warm... sometimes I wanna hop right into the tanks with them. keep me a little warmer in there lol!

Last night was the first time this year I didn't have the AC blasting. I wish it would stay in the 80's until Spring. I hate Chicago winters.

Personally, I love that it has been warm out still (and so do my kids!!!). It is a little weird, but then again temps fluctuate so much here in Chesapeake, a few weeks ago I was putting on a sweater and now I am in tank tops. I really don't care much for cold weather though, just cold enough to put my hoodies on and be warm that is fine with me!! And lately we haven't been getting much snow around here at all, although that is okay too, because when we get a light dusting of snow, people around here don't know what to do and everything shuts down.....GEEEZ... I think the last time we saw a white Christmas around here was maybe back in the 80's maybe early 90's.......hmmmm,could be wrong though. But anyway, if you like snow, Chesapeake is definately not the place to be.

I had my share of snow when I used to live in Erie, PA. If you know what lake effect snow is I feel for you. 15 feet of snow a year was way too much. Believe it or not the winter in Florida is the best season. 70 degrees until next summer and the humidity drops considerably. Summers in FL are not that fun, but are better than the average 7-8 months of snow I used to have.

Another thing about southern states... yall cant snowboard!! Living in Syracuse, NY we usually hold the #1 spot for most snow fall in NY every year... I think last yr we may have lost that as Oswego (1/2hr north) as they got pounded with 8ft in a couple days.. If you have something to look forward to that involves snow and cold (snowboarding and hockey) it makes the winters much more fun and exciting... If you hate the cold and snow... dont move to NY haha.

damn seems like the apocalypse is coming with all this crazy warm weather.

i hope it cools soon. we had an awesome thunder storm last nite and a crazy down pour i went outside and watched it well i kinda had to since i missed the last bus home and had to walk from work was relaxing to say none the less. awesome show of mother nature at its finest.

well i hope its starts coolin off soon im tired of the a/c i wanna be able to open some windows and let some fresh air in.

took all my animals outside today. my ferret dug a hole in the sand box. montana was in the tree chilin out took my hamster and the cage outside and took the parakeet cage outside thank god for nice days off.

the other snakes are to small right now to let hang in the "snake" tree so they have a stump to chill on.

well im glad im not the only one that is having this crazy weather and thanks everyone for respondin

OMG I would die.... I hate humidity, and I live in MI (surrounded by water duh).... not by choice of course. I would probably feel more at home in Alaska or Fort Saskatchewan... mmmm, cold.

It was a very hot summer here... I think the heat followed Ari and I over from Texas. But, it's finally starting to cool off...YAY! I love fall cause it lets me enjoy the nice 50's-60's temps before the dratted blizzards hit. We should be getting our first snow of the year before this month is over, tho it'll probably be a bit late due to the extra warmth this year.
