When i get the money...

So every christmas i get $100 bucks [atleast] from my one grandma... and $100 from my parents... and then some other money from other fam... my goal is to save up $600 from like this point on right...
so my main question is should i invest in a Spider, a Mojave, or save up a little more and after i try to prove out my poss het pied girls and that doesnt work get a 100% het pied girl...

my reasons for not knowing is...
a friend of mine has a pastel male...
she might be getting a mojave or a spider male...
and so i would prolly get a female of whatever i get...

but i dont know what i wana do...
if i get a spider i could have bumble bee babies
if i get a mojave i could have well idk...

but depending on what my friend gets...
i could get Spider Mojave, i guess a leucy? what comes from a spider x spider?

any way...
what would be the better investment?

i'd say get the spider though, and make some bees :]

Bees IMO are the best morphs out there...and you need a spider to get them. Look at all those bees http://www.newenglandreptile.com/ner...=543&Itemid=76 impossible to not fall in love with the combos of the spider.

Just save up and get them all one by one.

see, i like spiders, mojave, and pieds... pieds are way expensive for me..
and im looking into the breeding area mostly because that area intrest me alot, with the whole gene thing and stuff...

i did not realize you could do so much with the spider gene! wow...

but i have two poss het pied girls that i will try and prove out next season... maby earlyer if the one continues to eat small rats like she has been...
and then the other is on mice... cause thats all she will eat...

so im really just torn between mojave, and spider...
because i can do alot later down the road with either one...

Eh; it really depends on what calls out to you personally. I would not buy for moneymaking down the road.
But if you like pieds, and have het girls.. why not get a het male!

like i said i like the gene end of things and mixing and matching... the money end would be nice so they can pay for their own food... cause even frozen rats are pricey....

Im not sure where your from, but if you have to wait till xmas to get the money. Id just start saving and get a few that you want next spring/summer. Most people wont ship during winter. It will give you time to get enough saved up.

I'd save up and get a bumble bee male. That way all you need is a normal female and you can hatch out your own pastels, spiders, and bees!

Since you like pieds so much and spiders save up and get a Het pied spider male to go with your het females.....

I voted for the spider female personally. If your friend has a male pastel, you can breed it to your spider and get bees. If your friend gets a male mojave, you can breed it to your spider to get Mojave Bees er Mojave spiders (whatever they call them now) and if your friend gets another spider, well, then you still have an awesome spider female to breed with your males or any others you get to make bees. Also if you get a spider female, assuming you get a hatch ling, it's going to be 3 years before she's up to snuff and ready to breed. In that time you can be trying to prove out your poss het pieds, and if your friend goes with the spider you can save up for a mojave yourself, or your own pastel, or a lesser, or anything else you like, as since it doesn't take the male as long to get to breeding size, they'll be ready around the same time.

mojo's. they are worth more now and there homozygous forms are also worth more money. :D

Spiders are dropping like a brick, and are nasty genetically speaking. Save your pennies for a het recessive, or go with the mojo.

It is true that spiders are dropping like a brick. However the reason for that is because they are the basis for so many morphs that are blowing up the market, and are doing quite well when it comes to price. Anything in the bee family is a fantastic morph right now, and there is still so much more that can be done. So I fail to see how they are "nasty genetically".

But to answer the post, I think I would go with a female mojave. I would rather have the shot at a BEL personally. They are much more rare than the bumble bee, and they hold their value much better too IMO. Or if you would rather breed your own snakes rather than having to use a friend, then I would say save for a het pied pair, or any het pair for that matter. But get what you want FIRST so that you aren't upset about it later.

Mojo or Lesser :)

Spiders are cool though. Im looking to breed my Spider Het OG to my 100% Het OG and make Honeybees next season :)

And I should also have a Mojo and Lesser to breed with too :)

Bumblebee male.....

im getting a female - cause i already have 2 males, and i have to sell my 2 females to downsize, its part of a process my parents are making me do before collage starts, so i have to sell the girls, and timmy is goin back to bryan next month, and my limit is 6, and i already have boys, plus, i cant afford that lol.


i already have plans for my mojo girl, worse comes to worse i will sell the two girls locally.
