I usually just brace my elbow against something.. tripods are too cumbersome for me.. especially with an active snake.

I honestly can say that I envy your green lawn lol Do you set the camera down and let the snakies come to it or do you bring it more toward them?

Great pics! Thanks also for labeling the snakes! Sometimes people post neat pics and I have no clue what they are! :)

Hogg boas have to be one of the most subtly beautiful animals in the world. Nice shots and I have enough snakes I wish you Hogg owners would stop making me want another big snake. :rolleye2:

Gin - yeah I think the S9000 is the best non-SLR digital out there!

Jack - well, hoggies are considered a dwarf boa you know. ;)

Dwarf is a relative term, LOL. They are still big animals compared to most rats, kings, etc. and there by require space. To be clear when I say I have a lot of snakes the current inventory is over 40. I have about half a dozen big snakes or snakes that will be big and that is plenty.

They are so damn beautiful though!

4 Annys! Pretty ambitious. Are they yellows, greens, male, female?
