Questions about Slow-Worms
I have a few questions about Slow-Worms (legless lizards) that maybe some of you can answer: 1. Are they availible in stores? 2. How often do they eat? 3. Can they be handled without them being stressed? If you've ever had experience with a pet-owned a S-W, let me know.

When is someone going to post already  !? I need to know this info!

Re: Questions about Slow-Worms
Maybe the fact that you've been extraordinarily rude in every other post you've created is scaring people off?

Are you kidding? :confuse:
If you need to this information so urgently, you could also be using this tool called google.

Re: Questions about Slow-Worms
I really don't know that much about legless lizards... except that they can eat crickets, and they are available in some pet stores. Sorry!

Re: Questions about Slow-Worms
I believe if someone did have experience with them, they would have chimed in already. (if you didn't piss them off)
I personally have only seen one legless lizard, and it was very calm, but it wasn't in the best of shape (at a reptile show)

I highly doubt that because only you, Juddb, and jjspirko remember me. Was there any use in saying that? No, so stop acting like a Skakdi.

Shut it! That's being offensive, and was I ever offensive? NO! Only you, and a few others got involved in the situation, so you are wrong.

If I ticked anyone off it wasn't you (you weren't even involved). What was wrong with the slow-worm anyway?

Wow, your on the verge of pissing everyone off regardless if you direct it at them or not. You are extraordinarily rude to anyone that doesn't give you what you want.
This is a forum read mainly by adults, even though it welcomes anyone of any age. And your attitude is putting most of us off I'm sure.
Calm down, don't attack people, and try to read everything in a positive light. Many people read these threads, member or guest that may not respond to it. I remember the threads that you have been in, even though this is the first time I responded to you.
We try to help everyone with our own experiences, but first and foremost this is an online community. We may disagree with each other, and hotly at times, but offensive and rude comments don't get looked on well regardless of who says it.
Be patient with us, just as you would want us to be patient with you.

This ---> <---- is what irritates members. (even when broken down it's : mad : ) You're mad with the membership because no one was able to answer your question in 3 hours or so? :O
Slow worms / legless lizards are not a common animal kept, and off hand I can't think of anyone that I know that has one. You weren't being ignored, it was just that no one had the informatin to give you.
Did you even try using the search feature or google? At least then you would have a starting point for discussion.
Consider this an official warning to tone it down with the confrontational attitude.
EDIT - I apologize you did wait a couple days before going on the offensive, but the remainder of the message is still the same.

In case any one else had NO idea what a Skakdi was (Clingon for something nasty? Not quite.), here's a link explaining it: http://bionicle.wikia.com/wiki/Skakdi .
I'm apparently very much like a creature of a "formerly a realitivly peaceful race living on the island of Zakaz...changed to beastly creatures with a passion for war". I'm also an ugly SOB ;), as we Skakdi-like people have "beared ugly faces with a mouth that always resembled a menacing smile, along with an organic spine that the creature known as a Spine Slugs often attach to. The Skakdi also had sharp claws at the ends of their arms". Or something
Sadly, I quoted those misspellings right out of the Wiki article...and as I quoted, I couldn't change it ;) I don't believe I've ever had someone compare me to creatures out of a Lego-world before--it's really pretty funny :D

You completely exagerated. I haven't had this topic for 3 hours when I started complaining; I've had this topic for several days with no responses!

I didn't expect someone to be smart enough to find that out. You see, you sort of are (or seemed to be) relativly peaceful but now you've changed and have a passion for war and if you've ever seen a picture of a Skakdi (it's Maori for someone crazed) they look pretty darn ugly.

Christie DID see where she had misspoken and fixed her error with an apology. Please read all the way down to the last line.
Sometimes a thread gets no response (a RARE occurrance around here) simply because no one has an answer. Maybe you would have been happier with a thread that had 10 replies of "I don't know"?
If you have a thread that you'd like to draw attention to after it's dropped off the radar...a simple, gentle bump works great, rather than acting all put out as if the members were intentionally slighting you. Maybe try bumping the thread with a new tack to your original question, "Hey guys...if no one has direct experience with these...can you direct me to some online sites that might help?" ....something like that works wonders, compared to attacking those you come to for help.

When people make up similes about me, I like to understand what I'm being compared to. Next time, you can just call me "pretty darn ugly". It'll save time!
