    Post shed TWINS!
Here are the two little girls in the fresh skin. They weigh in at a whopping 22 grams apiece. They are in the pic with one of there brothers for size comparison.

Don't wanna sound like a noob here, but I'm just wondering, the only thing that makes them twins is that they came from the same egg right? They don't have the exact same pattern or anything like that do they?

Oh my, those are the absolute epitomy of cuteness! All of my babies came in around 65g, so I can't even imagine how teeny they are. AWWW!!!! Thank you so much for posting that pic Tim.

Yes, the reason that they are twins is because they came from the same egg. Similar to our fraternal twins as opposed to identical.

So in order to be fraternal twins, the eggshell would in fact have had to contain two separate eggs, each with their own yolk, correct? Kinda like a double-yolked hen's egg?

Thanks for all of the replies guys and Gals.

    Christie,
I'll take another pic today of them in Monica's hand, and it will give you a better size reference.

    Christie,
Here is a better size comparison pic that I took tonight. I had Monica put both of them in her hand. They really look tiny in this pic.

Awwww they are so tiny! The smallest ball python I've ever handled was about 45 grams and I thought that was tiny. How sweet they are! I vote you name them "Itsy" and "Bitsy" :)

    Jo,
I guess since Monica has now seen your idea for names, I guess my idea (Ping and Pong) may be right out the window.

    Celia,
I tried to feed them some small mice I got from you guys on Saturday, but they didn't eat yet. They just shed on Friday, so it might take them a couple more days.
